What I meant is that Quarry is smaller than some of Usyk's cruiserweight opponents. I understand that in 1967, Quarry was a heavyweight. But if one were to beat Quarry today, they'd be beating a cruiserweight or quite likely a big light heavyweight with day before weigh ins. If you're looking at just size, you can count Usyk's CW opponents

By the time he fights Usyk, Fury's upper-body movement and feinting are perhaps the most obviously diminished areas of his game.

Even 'last-fight-of his-career' Lewis would capitalize on this.

Vitali's successes came from the intensity of his offense.
Fury '24 had a conservative punch output and launched his offense in fits and starts.

The Lewis uppercut you mention would have finished Fury and that's just one of many heavy shots exchanged that night.

With the kind of slow start and reticence he showed in the early stanzas against Usyk, Fury doesn't even get into this fight. Lewis takes the initiative and ends it in less time than it took for him to beat Vitali.

The McDermott fight isn't really a big deal since he clearly wasn't world level yet and he easily knocked him out in the rematch

Vitali was in a competitive fight vs a good not great heavyweight in Byrd and was ahead but quit.. he was ahead so he gets some credit for that

Lewis was shot fat and slow... Vitali showed heart but it's embarrassing how he lost to THAT version of Lennox Lewis

Vitali gets credit for showing a lot of heart but his actual physical abilities as a boxer minus chin were completely exposed in that fight
