Vianello claims that he and Bakole were set to fight on the Usyk vs Rico undercard, but Bakole pulled out at the last minute without any explanation. If they were to fight, who do you think would win? While Bakole’s recent performances have left a lot to be desired, I would still favor him in this matchup, especially if he cut his weight down to at least the 280s. Source: This content is protected
I think Vianello could pull off an upset, Bakole is out of shape and Vianello has a dog in him and is always in great shape...
I think it would be a competitive fight in which Bakole would have his moments but Vianello would eventually get the decision. Sucks that more and more fighters are taking such long lay offs from the sport. Vianello should move on from Bakole and fight someone else.
Vianello would beat Bakole at this stage. Bakole is a fat mess who would struggle against anyone mobile and with basic fundamentals.
The most important part of this is to find other good opponents for vianello. He is a very good addition to heavyweight. Give him good opponents and I'll gladly watch. He'd beat both wilder and chisora and look way better doing it and yet they are the ones on ppv
I think Bakole is probably done now. Made good money from Saudi and lost the little discipline and motivation he had. Also Billy Nelson confirmed he's like 3 years older than originally listed so he's actually like 35.
I think his real birth date is 1 June 1983 and not 1 June 1993 as listed. I remember when I first saw him fight at the beginning of his career it was obvious back then he was 10 years older than listed. Let’s consider the fact he is probably 43. He is set up for life financially and now he is fat and lost his discipline. A boxing ring is the wrong place for him at this point in his life.
Kabayel and Frank Warren were planning to fight in May, so would certainly make sense to see Kabayel V Vianello given the timing at the moment. However, we know Kabayel has a tendency to cherry pick his opponents quite carefully otherwise.
I like that they're both European too, makes things interesting. Germany vs Italy. We need Europe more involved in boxing rather than just Britain and the east.
