AJ vs Wilder or Fury?

For me it probably depends on how fury looks at weekend but I’m not gonna lie I’d watch the AJ wilder fight

I’d also be equally happy if all just retired/stayed retired and didn’t fight each other, I’m not a huge fan of these “better late than never” fights personally

 

We already know Wilder is completely shot and has nothing to offer,we will find out after Fury’s next fight what he has left and the same can be said for Joshua. No doubt the huge money involved keeps them around as long as they can get paid at the behest of there health with there best days well behind them !

 

I’d rather see all 3 retire

Throw them all all in the ring along with Usyk and Itauma, whoever’s left standing is the goat

 

AJ vs Fury for me. As a Brit, I've always rated them pretty evenly and, even at this stage, I'd be keen for a definitive answer.

 

AJ Vs Fury would still probably be the biggest fight in British boxing history. And they're probably at similar levels in terms of decline, with Joshua coming off a brutal loss to Dubois and a traumatic car accident, and Fury only returning this week after over a year of inactivity following his first two losses in tough fights against Usyk.

AJ Vs Wilder would still be a big fight, but with how washed Wilder is it will have significantly less marketability than Joshua Fury. And if Joshua were to lose the Fury fight would also majorly drop in value.

 

I'll never understand this mindset. It ain't like boxing just has loads of great fighters coming through constantly. If these dudes can get in the ring and give us some banger fights, why not?

The only time I want to see a guy retire is if he's clearly cooked and is ruining his health. Chisora is at this point, for example. Wilder is kinda there, but AJ and Fury are still fine. Guys back in the day would have 70+ fights and none of these guys have cracked 50 yet, but ya'll are ready to throw 'em out with the bathwater?

 

Obviously both fights, despite being a decade too late, are still very watchable. Of the two, Fury vs AJ is the more interesting match as the winner would probably have a decent shot at challenging for the crown whereas, I think Wilder is 1 tough fight away from retirement.

 

AJ vs Wilder. If Fury kicks AJs ass they'll just claim he was shot, whereas we know both Wilder and AJ are shot so at least it'll be competitive.

 

If AJ kicks WIlder's butt, they'll claim Wilder is shot.

If AJ kicks Fury's butt, they'll claim Fury is shot.

If Wilder kicks AJs butt, they'll claim AJ was shot.

If Fury kicks AJs butt, they'll claim AJ was shot.

That type of mindset on predicting what "they" will say is a waste of time and pointless.

 

Rather see AJ v Fury. WIlder's punch selection and technique was absolutely abysmal vs Chisora, and Chisora looked at near his worst ever and totally out of shape.
