I’ve said my bit and I’m out, I’m not going to get in to this any further. My point is that you can’t duck a fighter that you aren’t in a position to fight.

Because he has a mandatory overdue and another belt that he let go. Those are the potentially real "ducks." I think you understand this at this point.

Itauma doesn't want that smoke. That why he is not fighting guys like Sanchez and Gassiev that could get him there.

Itauma wants Mike Hunter and maybe Hrgovic next, and good for him. But let's not pretend.

Uysk isn't ducking him and Moses is right down the pecking order and hasn't beaten anyone whatsoever to justify his lofty inflated ranking. Comical how they discredit Usyk's wins over the best HWs of the era, reigning world champions and #1 and #2 contenders who have actually beaten many top guys and the best out there, but in their next breathe they act like he should fight a prospect who hasn't beaten anyone of note and who if Usyk were to beat him these same clowns would crucify him for beating a ''green inexperienced prospect'' who hadn't beaten anyone close to world level

Usyk would brutally KO Moses back to biblical times.

He has already outperformed guys like Joshua and Hrgovic against common opponents.

Dubois was less proven when he faced Usyk the first time

Like Cooney outperformed Holmes against Norton?

Doesn't mean anything. Styles make fights, and different night, different fight.

Itauma gets two more decent wins where's he's properly tested and a good case can be made either way, Usyk has nothing to prove but if he sticks around and doesn't take care of credible threats the stronger the case that he needs to fight the next biggest thing making waves in the division. Right now nobody can say Itauma is entitled to that shot, especially before someone like Kabayel or Wardley. He is getting there and the eye test seems to be passed. This kick-boxer fight I think Usyk earned a gimmick look at his resume lol.

A defending champion should never be entitled to fighting a non boxer as a title defense. Especially if they're only fighting once a year.

That's true but if anyone we can consider 'deserves' a gimmick it's someone with that resume, he should give up the belts for sure though morally.

I think Itauma is definitely behind the mandatories in terms of a fight against Usyk. The problem is that Usyk isn't fighting them anyway, and wants money fights like Rico, Fury 3 and Wilder etc.

If he wants to go down that route then Itauma absolutely has a claim at that point. It should make huge money given the hype, and is at least stylistically interesting. It's definitely more of a challenge than Rico.

Either way this whole situation is just embarrassing. Usyk should just retire.
