I had no idea that fight took place so I did my research and apparently Pulev was 44 years of age and got battered by Chisora

Gassiev and Wallin are morsels for the worldclass heavyweights

I am very interested. They are openly calling out Itauma and saying that Moses don't want to know about a fight. Interesting to me, because when Pulev was champ, Warren threatened to sue to get the fight, and Itauma, as #1, would have the right to claim it against Gassiev. What is more, it makes sense, because as WBA regular, Itauma could either call a match against Usyk, or wait for him to retire and be promoted to sole WBA champ.

And yet he doesn't want it. Makes me think those who are underestimating Gassiev are WAY off base. Dude is healthy and active for the first time in years, and the idols don't want him.

Again you are OBJECTIVELY wrong in what you said. There is no argument here. You merely spoke incorrectly.

It sounds like Itauma and his team are terrified of Gassiev. Those fights against Wallin and Pulev must have put the fear of God into them.

Wallin is not world class, nothing you say will change this fact, dude went life and death with a journeyman in Sokolowski and failed against chisora when Wilder of all people beat him on POINTS. Pack it up

Even kownacki was ranked in the top 10 at some point, I couldn't care less about your ranking system.

I must admit, Gassiev looked extremely menacing against Wallin.

And the left-hook Gassiev finished Pulev with, what a peach. It was a carbon copy of the shot Wlad caught him with all those years ago.

Guy, you were OBJECTIVELY. Go back and read what you said and check it against WBA and Ring Magazine ratings. Simply wrong, and that is all.

I heard somewhere that he re-injured against Wallin, but I can't source it right now. It may be that he simply struggled with 6'6" southpaw, and to me, that is not a big deal...at all fighter can lose a fight and rebound from it.

I am very anxious to see what Gassiev has next. I have a feeling the elite club doesn't want him because he's too high risk-low reward. I think probably the winner of Miller-Pero, as Pero is WBA ranked. Not the greatest, but a decent enough next step.

And if he can get to an Itauma, all the better.

No need for anxiety; Gassiev's already mixed it with elite HW Wallin and been highly competitive, despite carrying serious injuries. Now he's fully fit, there's no stopping him.

We'll see. Itauma seems a bit nervous of him.

Or alternatively his team see zero value in fighting him. He needs an opponent that will actually challenge him.

Gassiev hasn't had a win of note in 7 years. If he had any ambitions at heavyweight logically he would have been matched far more aggressively. It's implausible that he couldn't get better fights.

Even Ajagba has been fighting better opponents and he's hardly a big draw

Are we supposed to believe literally everyone in the top 15 over a 7 year period has ducked Gassiev and that's why he can't fight them?

No one said, that. Just Itauma.
