Someday, a forum member will brag that his favorite heavyweight has a win over former top 10 Ring heavyweight contender Lawrence Okolie.;)

I'm more surprised Bakole is ranked 7.

I don’t mind that ranking at all. His performances against Usyk and clear dominance over Makhmudov show he is still a top level fighter, he’s undefeated against everyone not called Usyk, he’s still a recent champion and would be a favourite against most of that list.

If Wilder were to fight him it'd probably be you :)

Christ, it really does show how bad this HW era is. Gassiev and Bakole are in there; Okolie being in there at all. What a mess.

Right. Some treat wins over Ring rated fighters as the gold standard, but don't take into consideration that every era isn't made up of the same quality.

    Gassiev is okay.

I'd replace Bakole with Vianello or Riakporhe.

With competent judges, Bakole would have lost to Ajagba.

When do they drop guys after 12 months or inactivity? His last fight was in May of 25 so he's got a month left there I think.

    What era is this exactly?

IMHO, we're in a transitory period between the past era of Post-Klitschko/Usyk and have yet to reach the next era of Itauma/Atang/Dubois/whoever. I'd argue the most recent era ended when Usyk beat Fury for Undisputed.

The old timers are hanging around too long because the money is too good from the Saudis.

Some of those rankings are ridiculous though
A more reasonable top 10 would be

    Usyk
    Itauma
    Wardley
    Kabayel
    Hrgovic
    Dubois
    Riakporhe
    Torrez
    Ajagba
    Huni

    That doesn't seem so bad

I'm sorry but did you just rank Itauma at number 2 already?
