If Usyk loses to a kick-boxer how far down the P4P ranking does he drop?

This would be pretty embarrassing for the sport.

Kick boxing is a different sport with different rankings.

It shouldn't make any difference in his boxing ranking.

    It's a side show.

It's a sanctioned boxing fight with his championship status on the line. Of course it matters.

It's a sanctioned World Title bout. It counts. It would depend on how he lost. Boxers have been known to get old over night. Now that's not an excuse, because ultimately, it would depend on how the fight went, how both guys looked.

His current ranking should drop but his career ranking shouldn’t. They are probably going to have an old men’s fencing match

He'd be out of the top 100 i suppose

Won't happen though. Too much control.

Thing is anything can happen in HW boxing. Chris Algieri was a kickboxer but beat Ruslan. This guy is a way better kickboxer than Algieri. Tenshin was a kickboxer and whooped on Estrada.

Kick boxers bring a tricky awkward style. Ofc I’m backing the GOAT Usyk to win but don’t be shocked if it’s more competitive than a Dubois, the guy he’s fighting is no joke and is a tricky customer.

6'3 CW shouldn't really be in the P4P rankings anyway.

I think what would be worst is this would be the 2nd champ in a row to pretty much lose to a debutant. It would turn this into a trend. Would really expose the whole era as a pond of ducks.

I'm not recognizing this as a title fight(and neither should you). Its like Tommy Burns v Soldier Walker and Jim O Brien or Louis v Johnny Davis. The challenger is so blatantly unqualified. If Rico won like Ngannou we would have to change that opinion but heres the neat part he won't. Soldier Walker, Jim O Brien and Johnny Davis all got knocked out in the first round.

If Usyk loses, his career will be ruined.

Rico, who is an old 37 himself, has one win over a guy who notched no wins in five fights.

It would be the most embarrassing loss in heavyweight history.

It would also do irreparable harm to a sport that is already becoming less valued in many countries around the world.

Even more so when Rico loses his next fight.

Everyone in every top 15 would be favored to beat Rico.

If Usyk fights this 'kick boxer', by the rules of boxing , he will funk him up something silly
    But still 1.8 million ppvs.

Not happening. 50 year old Usyk would beat a kick-boxer with limited power When he’s drunk to the bone.

If he were to lose by some freak occurence, It would remove him from active p4p rankings but wouldn’t effect his all time status being 39 year old.

Wouldn't be any worse than Fury getting dropped by Ngannou and winning a razor thin 10 round decision, or Joshua fighting Jake Paul. It's just the latest in a line of circus fights that are making the heavyweight division look like a ****ing joke.

I actually thought Usyk would have had a lot more integrity than the likes of Fury and Joshua, but I guess I was wrong. The fact that the title is on the line makes this the worst crossover fight of all time for me. He's not going to lose, but if he did, he drops right out of the top 10 P4P, and I currently have him at number 2.

Imagine if he completely out boxed Usyk. Embarrassing for the sport maybe but I laugh just thinking about it.

I'm one of them ones who always get caught in the hype and start thinking about what if's and start doubting my original prediction etc but I'm not doing it with this one. People crucified Fury when he fought Ngannou. This fight is way worse than that and no-one could ever tell me different. Usyk is going to go in that ring and have fun. Verhoeven is completely at his mercy.
