I'm not saying you picked him in every post you made about the fight when it was upcoming, but you did pick Wilder to beat Parker. And likely Zhang too. People were probably criticising you for making premature excuses for Wilder's loss and hedging your bets, or trying to puff up Wilder's win by making the point that he was likely past his best. I know I picked Wilder, I overestimated him (or underestimated how shot he was). I don't see why this thread should provoke such strong emotion. Every boxer becomes shot enough to lose to Wallin sooner or later. Jake Paul beat Mike Tyson etc.
How did Chisora fight against Wallin? Was it not standing right in front of him swinging shots, providing loads of openings? Wallin did nothing with that because he's not good. It's a huge stretch speculating on the motivation of Wallin and declaring that has a massive impact on his results based on how motivated you think he was. This is AWFULLY similar to the logic that a 41 year old Vladimir was better because he was "more motivated" against certain opposition.
I just don't really see much redeemable attributes in Wallin. He is an average boxer, with a average chin, and no power. Then again Wilder isn't exactly great either but he has more to his game than Wallin does. Wilder late TKO.
Wallin is so featherfisted and doesn't typically pressure, wilder by decision. Wallin somehow lost to a shot gassed out Chisora he can't be trusted at all

In Wilder's prime, Eric Molina took him 9 rounds, Duhaupas 11, Szpilka 9, Arreola 8....Even Gerald Washington took him 5. Wilder PROBABLY wins prime for prime because Wallin is overrated by the fact he did ok against Fury, that's it. But Prime Wallin beats today's Wilder, who just struggled with a completely out of shape 42 year old Chisora.
It's like they all willfully forget that fight. There are several in this thread that have said Prime Otto is better than Chisora LOL He got ****ed up by slow ass 41 year old Chisora. Brutally beat up and outboxed. This content is protected Not sure what people are seeing in this, a near prime Otto Wallin; certainly not defense, that inspires them to belief that Otto could avoid getting blasted by Wilder. His primary defense is footwork (looks like he's been shot in the leg, by the way), a static high guard, and a zero power pawing southpaw jab. That's it.
Chisora was in better shape against Wallin, I think that Chisora was in bad a shape as any against Wilder....And he still stood up to his supposed power for 12 rounds. "Prime" Wallin would be somewhere between the Fury and Joshua fights, for what its worth.
No, Chisora was 41, gassed out his ass and nearly 260 pounds. To differentiate current Chisora and 2025 Chisora like they are different levels is make believe. Wallin would've got his ass beat by the same chisora Wilder beat
Wilder nukes him inside of 6 rounds. Southpaws are weak to a right hand, and Wallins best achievement remains a loss to Fury where he tried to cheat.
He's just one of those weird massive fighters with no power. Maybe he'd be better at wrestling or something. There was a moment in the last round versus Fury where he landed a perfectly clean LH on Fury's jaw and it stunned Fury who couldn't actually see from that side by then, but Fury just did some weird ducking moves and recovered. I think if you're 6'4+ and land a clean power shot on an opponent's face you should drop or at least stagger them. But that's just my personal opinion on the matter.
The results are in: A strong majority of reasonable folks believe that current, faded Wilder is still better than a prime Otto Wallin. It follows, then, that this shot version of Wilder would be Joshua's best win since 2018 when he defeated 39 year old Povetkin.
