Hemi is fighting Herman Purcell in one of those 1-minute scrap events over in NZ. Believe it's either this month or next

 

Yeah Hemi also fought in a recent one minute scraps, I think it was last month or February.

 

Aussie Dave Nyika v Floyd Masson in an IBF Eliminator for the IBF Cruiserweight title.

Alex Leapai Jr v Julius Long later this month in Gatton.

 

Ordered, hopefully it comes together. Team Masson has been chasing that fight for awhile now.

 

Aussie Dave smokes him.

 

I'm not so sure, he's got the better ability but I think Masson's got more heart. I could see Masson breaking Nyika down.

 

That's a truly terrible opponent.

 

Congratulations to Joel Camilleri for his decision over Telepe over the weekend as well.

 

2 of NZ's better prospects Emile Richardson & Duken Tutakitoa-Williams will be fighting on a BX-9 card in Auckland May 2nd. Oz can't have Kalani Marra either.

Yeah I wouldnt sleep on Floyd tha Mass.

Aussie Dave clearly the more physically gifted fighter but Floyd is about that life.

Yep, Floyd was already preparing for a fight this month, so depending on if/ when a deal is done he could be in great shape. Dave has had outside the ring distractions that might have shifted his focus ever so slightly & that might be all it takes. He'll need to be there 100% mentally against Masson.

 

Long is 48 and hasn't won a fight for 10 years!

Not making this stuff up.

 

So the winner of Nyika-Masson to fight Riley for Opetaia's IBF cruiserweight title.

Can see Nyika a decent chance of wearing that belt.
