Who do you think Anthony Joshua should fight next in a tune-up?

Well I guess if his goal is to lose for one last last payday, sure? But that's a rather pessimistic outlook.

I think it's fair considering how infrequently heavyweights fight and how long their training camps are.

In AJs case he's actively chosen to fight non-boxers when he could have been taking at least semi serious fights, now he wants another tune up. He's somehow had a more embarrassing run than Fury did recently which is saying a lot.

Obviously that's not his goal To lose. So it's not being pessimistic.
Fury beating AJ is far from a concrete conclusion.

Again, AJ said WILDER would be the tune up, then Fury later this year. What exactly is the problem with that? Seriously?

And I know you are desperate for a Dubois rematch, we already went over that.

I'm sure he won't go in to the fight thinking that

Consider my original comment which was if AJ couldn't beat a shot Wilder or Dubios he has no business fighting Fury. Either of these ideally should be his tune ups, not some random top 30 guy.

Again, I already said Wilder would be an acceptable tune up.

But until that's signed it means nothing. Pretty sure when Wilder called him out post Chisora AJ was dead silent.

No tune up because if he loses the fury fight wont happen.

I don’t like it but I can’t knock it, you got your achievements and you are trying to make the maximum money possible from your remaining days as a professional fighter, unfortunately the money seems to be there for this shite

As a fan you can knock it. What other sport would this sorta rubbish be tolerated?

I did say I didn’t like it and that is my position as a fan, there isn’t an option not to tolerate it, you can not like it and be opposed to it but regardless you can’t affect it happening or not, it happens whenever the opportunity presents itself, there are a few examples but none as bad as in boxing, I’m thinking about the Liv golf shite and the likes of Ivan Toney cashing out and going to play football in Saudi.

There is sadly no such thing as a tune up fight for AJ anymore- its a fight, no matter the opposition. He has not beaten a serious contender since 2020. He will have to dig deep to grind a win against anyone with some relevant boxing experience.
