The 6'7" Aliev is 14-1, with just one close decision loss.

 

To my favorite fat cruiser, Labinot Xhoxhai, it a wild fight in which Aliev went over the top like a WWE wrestler.

 

Suslenkov looked very good stopping Mann in 3.
Interested to see his next step up.

Sergey Kalchugin didn’t look completely shot at 38 and 4 years out the ring. Made the big Uzbek retire at the end of the 3rd round.

 

Do you think Suslenkov being Russian will hinder his chances?

 

Excellent! Mann is not a pushover.

 

He gets those IBA fights. Might be tough for him to get a title shot, but he'll always have a fight in front of him.

It confuses me that the Hunter fight doesn't count, though. The WBA even recognized it on their site for a long tome, and then erased it.

Andrii Novytskyi 15-0 is fighting Alexander Flores 21-5-1 on Friday April 24.

Novytskyi is somewhat underrated. Like many other East Europeans, he's not been able to find meaningful opponents. But this is not a bad matchup - Flores has won his past two by stoppage, including his last fight with Cassius Chaney.

 

Al Siesta at IBA will look after him and continue to get him good fights.
