Entirely different men with different frames, bone structure, and diets. Bowe was a bigger guy who liked to eat and struggled with discipline his whole career. The Riddick Bowe who could diet well enough to make cruiser is not a Riddick Bowe who exists regardless of whether his body could make the weight and fight healthily afterward.

 

It would be torture for Riddick Bowe to diet down to 200 pounds. Cruel and unusual punishment.

Riakporhe and Okolie would have been likely ducked at heavyweight so how is it cowardice to campaign at cruiserweight where they can get big fights?

 

I think this is fanciful. They are British, which means they get fights on demand, and between them they do not show a single quality that makes them ducked. If anything, they hurt themselves with cowardly, negative styles that don't sell.

They are many other Brits they would have to compete with to get big fights. Realistically I doubt Usyk or Fury would ever fight them nor Joshua once he lost to Usyk.

Riakporhe looks fine to me. Plenty of knockouts which fans like.

Vast majority of 90s heavyweights would still be heavyweights today because thats when SHWs became common and severe weight cutting was still a thing back then just not as extreme as todays fighters
