I couldn't resist WR. Talking about domestic fights he just popped into my head. I haven't thought of him in 15-20 years. Our commentators used to love him and like many of our boxers he was the next big thing.

**** I hate Aussie commentators. And on that fire Ben Damon that ****wit.

Speaking of commentators from bad ro worse Andy Raymond was a ****inhmg grommet. I wonder who he was talking about weeks back about an Aussie fighter getting screwed by his promoter.

'Cheeky' lost interest when his longtime trainer died in around 2018. He's only fought sporadically since and seems to have lost interest and traction.

I thought I read somewhere that George was looking at fighting over in the US, possibly June/July.

I remember he fought Lester Ellis in a kickboxing bout. Stevie was pretty handy kickboxer, who i believe started out in the discipline.
Definitely not on my bingo card at the time.
I never saw the fight but apparantly Lester did really well and arguably won.

This was a few years before Mundine dragged Lester back into boxing ring.

Yeah I saw that yesterday they fought and couldn't believe it. He was a good kick boxer.

I have met Andy Raymond a few times he is actually a really nice bloke. He was a bit cringe as a boxing commentator I thought he was good at calling the NRL. The main problems with commentators in general is they have to tow the company line and try to convince casuals they are watching a better product or seeing something special when hard cores like us can see it for what it is.

The word is the Tszyu brothers are actually feuding with Nikita saying he was not allowed to attend Tim's last fight.
I wonder what it is all about?

It obviously began with Tim splitting with what had been their common management team.

It seems to have worsened since Glenn Jennings threatened to sue Tim.
