Thats just the Heavyweight Boxing Division and Usyk rematched both of them that he had already beat comfortably,Usyk hardly being a small guy himself either, what I’m alluding to is how quick he was fast tracked to the Undisputed Title compared to other Heavyweights over the years. Ali 20 fights , Frazier 25 fights , Foreman 38 fights , Tyson 31 fights, Douglas 35 fights , Bowe 32 fights , Lewis 37 fights. Holyfield a former Cruiserweight had 18 fights there before moving up to Heavyweight and winning all the belts and Undisputed in a single fight in his 7th fight with his win over Douglas. Usyk had 16 fights at Cruiserweight before becoming Heavyweight Unified Champion in his 3rd fight and then Undisputed in his 7th fight. Ali had the quickest route but only because there was only one Title holder then back in 1964 iirc .

Dubios has zero successful title defenses. Wilder has one against Tyson fury.

Two can play at this game without using context.

I still don't understand why Usyk has been forced to rematch everyone at heavyweight but somehow at cruiserweight none of the champs he fought ever forced him into a rematch clause.

Glowacki, Breidis and Gassiev were all undefeated going into their fights with Usyk but somehow none of them thought to force Usyk to agree to a rematch clause. Very odd.

Dubois objectively has better top wins. And Wilders title defenses were objectively no better than guys that are typically faced in non title fights

Not odd at all because they fought each other in the WBSS Tournament .

They could have declined to take part in the tournament I assume and insisted on only fighting Usyk with a rematch clause in place

The AJ win was an official defence

The money was great in those tournaments
Why would they ever think of that?

Based on this and a few other things it seems that you don't understand that it is all about money, the promotor, and being British. Gassiev and Briedis have no one like Frank Warren or Eddie Hearn advocating for them.

Was it? I thought it was a fight for the recently vacated title.

After beating Joshua Usyk was generally considered the man at heavyweight and should have been able to dictate whatever terms he wanted. He was the big draw and could fight anyone he chose.

This is simply not how it works. The rematch contracts are up front.

I stand corrected then. I'd still rate a defense over Fury as higher, but that's a divisive opinion.
