    "Never been convicted koogs!"

Think I read that he is being extradited to Ireland - you'd think they'll have a big enough case against him now for a solid conviction.

If he's extradited that'll be him for the high jump but he'll be running the business from behind bars.

Serious question, what was Kinahan's involvement in the sport?
Like why did everyone use to thank him back in the day, what did he do?
And why did they all do business with him when they must have known he was a criminal?

Money, money, money and greed. DK was paying fighters, promoters, TV companies, content creators etc. way over the odds as a way of laundering his dirty money through ‘clean’ enterprises. Boxing is such a seedy sport that is ridiculously easy to buy (see the Saudis more recently), so everyone is happy to look the other way while they’re getting paid. A few then take the moral high ground when the various brands - MGM, MTK, Probellum etc. become too toxic. Most hilariously Sky and Adam Smith, who denounced MTK but refused to sever ties with their friendly co-commentator who two of these businesses were named after.

As far as I know it’s still going on, give yourself a gold star if you can work out who might be involved.

This is it. He'll be with his mates in the jail in Ireland. Should stick him somewhere in the UAE

He’s still got his minions ‘managing fighters’ – Lee Eaton, Tom Stalker, Sam Jones etc.

Spencer ‘Brown’ (his actual name is Spencer Jones) went from running a memorabilia shop in Blackpool and doing meet & greet nights with Fury, to suddenly managing Fury and promoting with Saudi once Kinahan had the sanctions put on him despite no previous promotional experience. Seems completely legit. A quick look on Companies House used to show he had a load of companies with the name Goldstar in and they all went bust.

My perception as a mere fan of boxing.

Macklin's Gym Marbella (Matthew Macklin seems not to have much to say these days and upholds an ostensibly clean image), Mack the Knife Globa, now Goldstar Promotions. Spencer Jones to Brown seems very odd, doesn't it? The man who "was instrumental" in forming the link with the Saudis. Give over. He seems to be a puppet for Kinahan. So, what does that say about the Saudis that they are doing business with Kinahan? Ludicrous.

Nobody with a camera asks any questions because they are (iFL TV) financial beneficiaries (Goldstar is or was plastered all over iFL TV interviews, but I haven't watched one of its videos on a long time) or seem to be, since they ask no questions. Even if they are not directly on the payroll some suggest they are complicit through their silence.

One may form the impression that those directly in business with Goldstar and any of the former outfits should be investigated should Kinahan be convicted. It appears that Kinahan's endeavours in boxing were/are incredibly brazen.

I am no expert and these are just my perceptions from the work done by investigative journalist Nicola Tallant and other publicly available sources.

Or better yet, America. I'm not learned about how these things work. If he were extradited to America would the court case be filmed? I'd pay pay-per-view prices to see that.

You've nailed the modern world there though, all this is straight infront of your eyes, nothing is done, it's clear as day, same as the endless american candy, barbes, vape shops that are obviously just drug and crime fronts, yet if I don't pay HMRC £10 next month I'll get chased and taken to court

Not a mention of this on Talksport as far as I am aware. Jim White was hired by 'Probellum'. Paul Smith who has a lot to say on anything and everything wouldn't want to address it either for obvious reasons, I'd imagine. Adam Catterall, another big gob, he'll be keeping quiet also since he worked for 'Probellum'. Sunny Edwards was on it, can't remember if he was employed by it. People are happy to take the money if it suits them. They aren't fussed about where the money comes from and its adverse impact on people's lives. Any financial beneficiaries of drug lords are simply scum.

To be fair, if he's been arrested and it's an ongoing mega-case, they might be restricted from talking about it on air? Maybe not, though, god knows.

Many non-boxing outlets are reporting on it with strong speculation. The reason why Talksport and the boxing outlets are not addressing it is because they have been direct and indirect financial beneficiaries for many years. How many boxing personnel have been associated in some way with Macklin's Gym Marbella, Mack the Knife Global, "Probellum", or Goldstar Promotions?
