Pacquiao beats Crawford at 135 and 140 IMO. 147 I see that version of Crawford besting Pac. It’ll be very competitive either way.
Aye I didn’t think he would be to be honest. Judges are wrong all the time. It’s hardly a controversial take, I’d guess most people had Porter ahead (including Bud’s own team who told him he needed the knockout).
Still, Marquez possessed the southpaw killer - the right hand. And Crawford just doesn't have that. Agreed that Manny didn't fight a lot of southpaws as they were hardly around. My issue here is with Crawford's competition. Crawford's competition, while solid, was nowhere near the level Manny or Floyd faced. I do think Crawford has the skills to beat Manny but i personally am going with the quicker man who also is much more proven vs high caliber dudes.
You're wrong about his opposition: Just because he won too easily against Madrimov, Spence, Canelo, and Postol doesn't mean that they weren't very good wins if not excellent. Manny didn't just lose to Marquez btw.
Madrimov was a good win, Spennce an excellent one, Canelo has been coasting for a few years and is no great shakes at this stage but i can still count it as a good win. Do you think Crawford's competition is as good as Manny regardless of wins and losses?
Manny is a lot smaller so obviously he isn't going to beat Canelo at 168. I think he beats Spence and Madrimov at his best. besides that isn't my point. My point is that overall, Pac's competition was a much higher level. He has a lot more good names on his resume.
