Young Daniel needs to get on the blower to Scam Jones. He can do his talking for him.

Great to see two guys so respectful, even the sparring story Dan says Fabio is a different guy now. Can't wait for this one.

Wardley is a breath of fresh air, such a likable guy.

He'll know Dubois is autistic and his behaviour towards him showed a lot of class and emotional intelligence.

He's got to fight him so I imagine he'll get into fight mode soon and use whatever advantages he can to get in Dubois head but on a strictly human level, Fabio is a great guy.

    Most likeable boxer out there

Especially with his nose which bleeds every fight, clearly has an issue with it. Haha imagine Wardley vs Hrgovic. You could place bets on who would bleed first.

I get what you're saying. I have Asperger's so I'm mildly autistic myself. However, I just don't find Dubois likeable. I can see that he desperately tries to pretend to be someone he isn't, to try and fit in, rather than being himself. I definitely believe Joe Joyce is autistic too, 100%, but he's super likeable with it and doesn't pretend to be someone else.

I think the issue may be that "being himself" may be standing in the corner and ignoring everyone. He's been around boxing his entire life, it's not like he doesn't know that just standing there ignoring everyone wouldn't be helpful, so he gets out there and tries. Again, I think the awkwardness is due to his autism; he's doing his best.

Compare to Bam -- an introvert who isn't on the spectrum, he's just an introvert. His public appearances come off a lot better because he doesn't have the awkwardness. When he does talk, he's well spoken and clearly just being himself.

I think its a dangerous road to label anyone who presents differently as autistic. We are all on a spectrum of humanity, some thrive under the pressure of the bright lights, some are nervous and introverted. So long as Daniel can express himself in the ring, thats how we should 'judge' him.

Golovkin was the same as well. There was a long form interview he gave back in the day in Russian and he was like a completely different person, very serious and eloquent

    Just watched this.

Wardleys a real mans man, gentleman and respectful even when he was offered low hanging fruit i.e "what about Dubois heart".

I still think Wardley will just have too much dog and it will unsettle Dubois at some point, so Wardley by KO. It will be fight of the year contender I think.

An almost perfect match up. Imagine if it went to decision
