1. Champion Muslim Gadzhimagomedov hasn't fought since January of last year, and that was a non-title bout. 2. Their rankings on their own sight only go to 1-8, with the rest of the spots saying "not rated." Are they folding on the idea?

A pointless division. I see Alen the Cabbage Babic fought for the WBC one, and lost to the Polish bouncer, which should show everyone what a joke of a division it is.
Kevin Lerena just lost his WBC belt in a decision to Ryad Merhy in their rematch, following an uneventful if not lackluster performance marred further by late-hitting and other shenanigans (mostly by Lerena), drawing abundant boos. I'll maintain my admittedly unpopular opinion that Usyk should reach down and help himself to the WBC or WBA belt. He won't exactly have to struggle to make weight .... and why not add a notch for the record books....?
No money in it. Usyk has made clear he is fighting for the dollars. Who is he going to make money off of? Anyway, a sincere congratulations to Merhy...and a fine illustration as to why we have rematches, for those who keep crying about Mr. Usyk.
Had they given it a proper name, and worked with the various commissions around the world to establish it, I would care. Honestly, it should be; 175, 190, 210. Then again, a lot of the smaller heavyweights clearly can make 200 if they tried. Someone like Chris Arreola should never have fought at heavyweight to begin with. And the jump from 175 to 200 is not that big, due to how big most 175lb guys are due to the day before weigh-ins.
