Yoka Vs Adelaye would be a much better fight than the formally lanky fat boy.

Yoka who is bullied by everyone with a pulse vs Adelaye who is outboxed by everyone with a pulse

The whole event has been cancelled. This is not fair to the other boxers and the French fans.

With Michael Hunter fights I'm shocked he didn't sign for it and then same day have it fall apart

I was thinking of that as I wrote it. They didn't want the fight cancelled TWICE.

With Okolie's failed test and probable suspension, Itauma is basically the number one contender in all sanctioning bodies. Here:

    WBA - ranked number one.
    WBO - ranked number one.
    WBC - ranked number two.
IBF - ranked number five (the first two slots are vacant, so therefore he should be move up after the Sanchez-Torrez fight).

Just how the heck is this guy so highly ranked after beating the likes of Wach, Whyte and Franklin? He is basically the undisputed challenger to Usyk's belts.

Edit. Itauma will return on July 25th. The opponents in running are: Wilder, Zhang, Gassiev, Hrgovic or Riakporhe. Should he be victorious, reckon he wil fight for a belt in the end of the year.

Wilder- hmmm I could see it, I think wilder gets pummeled
Zhang- will warren put another one of his charges against Zhang after what happened to Joyce? Im guessing no
Gassiev- team itauma seemed to shut up real quick about fighting for that WBA title after Pulev was kod by Gassiev
Hrgy- most likely IMO, the real question is can hrgy bear make it out of the Dave Allen fight without a bad cut that will take months to heal?
Riakpohre- isn't he with Shalom? If so I'm guessing not him

I also agree there should be a full investigation into Itaumas ludicrous ranking.

Man I don't care who he fights at this point, I just wish Zhang could get some kind of opponent. I've given up on seeing him and Usyk fight (yes I know it's a one sided decision win for Usyk, no I don't care because they're two of my favorites from early on and I just think it'd be cool to see them square off), but I want him to see him in the ring at least one more time before he hangs em up.

Sadly he's firmly in "Who needs him" territory. These days it's pretty easy to **** on him and say he's overrated and washed and all that other stuff, and he is indeed an old man at least, but the fact of the matter is in his three losses, nobody had an easy night out. Kabayel ate some of the heaviest shots of his career and suffered a nasty knockdown while having to nearly double the amount of bodywork he usually does. Hrgovic took a beating in round 6 that probably took years off of his life. I think it says something that the one who did have the easiest time was Joseph Parker, and even he hit the deck twice.

Making it even worse as a fan of his is hearing about all the fights he damn near got recently. Wardley for the WBA Interim title before Parker for the WBO Interim came along. Chisora before Wilder came along. Dubois before Wardley for a title came along. Dave Allen before he decided life is worth living after all and went with Hrgovic instead.

Latest I've heard (and if I'm thinking right its been a couple of months?), aside from the Itauma thing, is that Dillian Whyte and Murat Gassiev have listed him as a potential opponent. I think all three are winnable fights for him, but if I had to choose I'd go with Gassiev. Mostly cause it'd be for a WBA trinket/mandatory shot, and with that he'd at least be able to say he competed for that distinction for all four major sanctioning bodies. Might not be undisputed but... hey, it's probably on the rarer side of things if nothing else

Looks like Zhang is having the time of his life. Apparently he set up his own restaurant in the US, so he has other stuff going on besides boxing. I kinda wonder if the fire is still there with him.

Didn’t realise Jalolov was fighting on the Wardley - Dubois undercard.
Kamil Sokolowski is currently sparring in camp with him.
