Yes....Paul fight been discussed death. It was a crappy money fight. It's done, get over it FFS. And don't forget, FURY brought in NgGannou. AJ got him out of of boxing. Should be applauding him for that.

I agree. Which is why Parker has been one of my faves. He SHOULD have gotten his shot at Usyk already.

No, you are just bitter. It's in your posts about Aj, which are a lot and frequent. I have no horse in any of this. I'm a fan of Fury, AJ, Usyk, Parker, Itauma, Wardley...a whole bunch. You are calling me an idiot because I called you out on your hatred of AJ. You can't help but be snarky about him in any thread he's mentioned. I get it. I used to be the same until I grew out of that crap.

I still think you are a good poster. But maybe you need a break from AJ.

Maybe some. And others. But mostly myself just recognizing how silly all of that stuff was.

 

It's not bitter. I just think AJ is vastly overrated and he is taking the absolute mick. Yeah, he had a great resume right up to his losses with Usyk. Since then it's been abysmal, yet his fans still crow on about his resume like it's 2018. Around that time I trashed Wilder for his, but he's since improved so I'll give him credit for that. When AJ starts stepping up with his opponents I'll give him credit, but until then he hasn't earned it.

I'm very vocal about Fury and Usyk fighting non-boxers as well (check out any Usyk thread, you'll see me whinging about it), AJ just gets a bit more hate because he fought two of them and was reportedly lining up Rico before his accident. Either fight proper opponents or just retire outright. Same applies to any other heavyweight out there.

 

Every fighter is overrated according to some people dude. He's also still very talented. You don't accomplish what he has with out a high level of skill.

Who gives a crap what his fans 'crow' about? Fans say the dumbest stuff. Usyk is a top 5 ATG. Wilder is a top 5 hardest hitter ever. Dubois beats a prime George Foreman. It's fan talk. All it is.

AJ got hate LONG before any of those fights Kiwi.

WIlder's choice of opponents improved because he has no choice if he wanted to continue. He HAD a chpoice when he had a belt. We saw what level of comp that was.

AJ wants to face both Wilder and Fury this year. Is that OK with you?

 

Sure, but we're on a boxing forum. It's where fans talk about this sorta stuff.

Wilder's opponents are improving, I don't care why, the fact that it's happening is enough for me. AJ's aren't (and evidently Usyk is going down the same track). I'll call that out and have no issues doing so.

IF AJ fights Wilder then Fury next, Kudos to him. I'll be the first to praise it, but until then nothing has actually been confirmed.

 

Can't see much argument for Fury being great. Doesn't have the accomplishments

Deontay Wilder and Luis Ortiz are the only boxers in history who apparently don't decline at age 40-43+, having been brutally KO'd multiple times. Make it make sense.

Wilder is 10 years removed from his athletic prime. Gone through 10 years of countless surgeries. A half-dozen hand surgeries. Shoulder surgery. Bicep surgery.

Six years since his first loss, when people here insisted he never was anything.

The underdog against Chisora ... who he punched out of the ring three times.

Now, approaching 41 ...

Yet, Anthony Joshua and his team still think Wilder is too "risky" to fight next.

Wilder could never punch. Never beat anyone. Total loser. Now Old. Shot. Broken down. Chicken legs.

Yet, apparently, this Myth, this never-could-punch, chicken-legged, glass-jawed, fraud who never beat anyone ... and who is now approaching the ancient age of 41 ...

Who Joshua would outweigh by at least 40 pounds or so ...

Zhang was even older than Wilder though so that excuse doesn't really apply there. Parker was also shopworn with many tough fights

 

Zhang was 68 POUNDS HEAVIER than Wilder. And Zhang is a noted KO puncher. And Zhang was the favorite. And Zhang was rated above Wilder.

How much credit would you give a 214-pound Wilder if he knocked out a 146-pound 38-year-old Welterweight?

How much credit would you give Wilder if it took him FIVE ROUNDS to do it?

Would you call that Welterweight fraud because he got knocked out?

All these Wilder bashers ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS leave out the fact that Wilder won the WBC heavyweight title, made 10 successful defenses (including one against Fury), and was always outweighed ... sometimes a by a lot.

The ONLY guy Wilder has outweighed, year in and year out, fight after fight after fight, in the last 14 years (since May 2012) was Herndon in his comeback fight last year.

He's given up weight to everyone. It's almost unprecedented at that level of boxing for so many years. It really is.

And others who have been the lighter guy beating bigger guys always get the credit.

Still, ZERO credit given when it's Wilder. ZERO. It's truly maddening.

In fact, he's mocked when he loses.

 

He’s a 6’7” multi millionaire professional athlete. It’s his job to be in shape to fight.
He can afford strength trainers, dieticians, good clean food. If he decides to come in at a certain weight then that’s on him, he’s in the heavyweight division so it’s not an excuse to be used that he’s outweighed by everyone.
