Hard to say.. i mean Crawfords resume isn't exactly littered with slick skillful boxer types is it? Most of his best wins were washed too..
Duran is a bonafide top 10 to 15 ATG on most peoples cards.. no one other than ignorant recency bias fan girls & Crawfords 18 kids would put that fellas achievements on a par with Duran.. most of his best wins were washed. He spent his entire career boiling DOWN & fought in the much weaker modern era of pre day weigh ins, softer gloves, PEDs, lower fight frequency, 17 divisions & 4 tricket titles ... all of which dilute & muddy the water giving the modern fighter an easier playing field than that of their forebears. Benitez beat Duran & Palomino .. Crawford beat an alcoholic, a washed plodder & that fella from Uzbekistan who no ones heard of. He should be nowhere near anyones top 10.
Judging by some of these answers im thinking instead of actually watching Benitez some of these posters are simply looking him on on Boxrec
Benitez is certainly capable of winning this but not sure he kicks the crap out of Crawford. Bud has never really come close to being beaten throughout his career. I agree Benitez fought better competition. He also caught some Ls close calls with Curry. Looking at both fighters abilities, strengths and flaws this is a competitive match. There is no blueprint to beat Crawford.
