Partly yes. If you were writing in the '90s that Lewis was a fighter outside the top 30, I'd be writing the same thing I'm writing today – he's a great boxer, easily in the top 9-12, although back then I'd probably have him lower, but not as low as The Ring.

It's really funny that you consider your own opinion trolling, but it still doesn't change the fact that Lewis had a great fight with Mercer, but Ray fought an equally great fight and got knocked out by Rahman or McCall.
You can deny the facts, but you won't find such defeats in Holmes's 30-year career.
At over 40, he's fared better than Mercer and McCall, although you might think he's the other way around, but that's a departure from reality, buddy.

I think Lennox's biggest troll is McCall, who said that the 46-year-old Holmes was the best opponent he ever fought. I disagree, but what do I know? I haven't fought them. The eye test tells me that the 30-year-old Lewis was better.

Someone let me know Lewis’ 2 knockout losses were before he went with Emanuel Stewart correct? I know Stewart really finished him off as a skilled boxer to go with the size and power.

One either side. Rahman was like his third last fight. The losses were 7 years apart.

There's an avenue for Norton to pull an upset. Lewis had the mentality of a boxer. Unless Lennox comes out aggressively early like he did vs Golota and Grant he could find himself in a boxing match with Ken Norton.
It could be a frustrating nite for Lewis if Ken is able to warm up get his boxing groove going.
