Prime George Foreman vs Zhang Zhilei

Zhang gassed out against Forrest. Foreman is a completely different fighter stylistically. Zhang won't need a gas tank for George. The fight would be over in 3 rounds tops either way.

Forrest got obliterated by Anderson dude. Zhang got walked down by Kabayel and got crunched to the body, and he has a worse tank than Foreman if it goes past 4. By actual feats Foreman has the more proven chin not to mention Zhang isn't a good finisher

 

I've never said Zhang had a better gas tank than Foreman. Jimmy Young got beat by Ossie Occasio, shortly after he beat George, so? Styles make fights. And a fight between George and Zhang would look like Foreman vs Lyle. And in this type of shootout, Zhang has a chance and would be nightmare for Foreman. He's a better boxer than Lyle and punches harder too. He also took punches from Wilder who hits as hard if not harder than George. I'm not saying Zhang wins, but he has a big chance of doing so.

 

He's a more accurate counter puncher but also a lot more passive than Lyle and the difference in the amount of punches they throw is vast. He doesn't really have a jab like Lyle, all he does is paw his lead hand and Ronny honestly showed maneuverability and activity in the early rounds than Zhang ever has. Foreman is crude but even he is more fluid, more dynamic and faster than Joyce and could outbox the big Orge if forced rove around the ring. Zhang can catch Foreman between shots but just off workrate he will probably get hit more and isnt as good as Foreman on the inside, fights nothing like Young too. Big Bang is dangerous, but not a nightmare match up, that would he someone like Usyk.

Zhang was never a good finisher and when Foreman gets up after getting KD he's going to keep breaking Zhang down to the body, can occupy him with jabs and probs to control the momentum and overwhelm him with a pile of power punches coming upstairs and downstairs. He would stop Big Bang in 6

 

Young Foreman gets dropped, but he gets up and wears Big Bang out and stops him. Big George did punch himself out once, but Zhang's stamina is is really poor.
Old Foreman is smarter, more durable, and also beats Zhang due to Zhang's poor stamina.

I'm a fan of Big Bang, but that stamina makes it hard to pick him against any ATG fighter unless they were notoriously chinny or there was a clear style mismatch.
