Relax, Bionic Man. Deep breaths. In...and out. In...and out.

King Tim is READY TO RULE THE WORLD in the Junior Middleweight division. FIRST, he tears Errol Bungeye a new bunghole. THEN, he faces the winner of Beanstalk v Jermell Charlo for the WBC & Lineal World Championships.

Two legitimate Lineal world champs in the one era (Jai & Tim) puts Australia into its rightful place on top of world boxing. Not make believe, for real.

Like I said, deep breaths. People will come from far & wide to watch the King reclaim his Crown.

He'll beat Fundora. Fundora will cut the top of his head on Tim's elbow.

Honestly, I think Jeff is very underrated as a trainer. He took on a lot of fighters after the 2000 Olympics & gave every one of them a solid platform for future professional success. Some he took to world championships. He took Vic Darchinyan all the way through from his pro debut to a world championship at flyweight. In fact, Darchinyan never lost a pro fight while he was with Jeff. Vic would never have won the world title without Fenech in his corner. He was facing a long-reigning world champ who was ahead in the fight when fireworks (real ones) started going off over the outdoor arena the fight was in. The fight was stopped while that occurred. The reigning world champ rested in his corner for the duration of the stoppage. Fenech had Vic, who was behind in the fight, up in the corner working out, staying warm. When the fight resumed, Vic clobbered the world champ & turned everything his way. Kayoed his man in the 11th - new world champ. That one was in the US. Jeff also took Danny Green to the WBC Interim World Championship in Canada. Probably was the best win of Danny Green's career against a heavy favourite in hostile territory. The Green Machine dominated that fight & kayoed the Canuck in the 6th. Jeff also launched the pro careers of Sakio Bika (future WBC Super Middle world champ), Naofel Ben Rabah & many others. He's a great trainer for any pressure-fighter type.

    lol....oh, i am relaxed
just dont believe this will be anywhere one of the greatness victories (if he wins), in Australian boxing history.
And Timmy ain't winning another World title.
Well, he was emailed the first one after beating ole man Tony Harrison for the intermin belt.
I'm just not sold on him as a legit World Champ and everytime he has stepped up...he has lost.
A perfect example of marketing hype over substance.

"THEN, he faces the winner of Beanstalk v Jermell Charlo for the WBC & Lineal World Championships."
And the Beanstalk will make him quit on his stool.......again.

Skinny & Hussy Hussein were also trained by Jeff all the way through to world title shots. Skinny could easily have got a win over Manny Pacquiao in the Philippines but for an infamous long count. Jeff got his guys fights, paydays & opportunities all over the world. Pretty sure he launched Daniel Geale's professional career as well.

I don't think Fundora has any interest in beating Tim's ass again. And quite frankly he doesn't deserve another shot any time soon.

I don’t really get the negativity about Tim’s attitude he seems cool to me if anything more humble lately and not asking what’s my mother ****ing name anymore. I want Tim to give Spence a beating. Spence is the arrogant one who has been talking crap about Tim for years.
I think the move to Fenech is more about logistics it seems like a big hassle to live in Sydney but have an overseas trainer.

Silver medal for Lekeisha Pergoliti at the World Boxing Cup in Brazil. The Chinese southpaw was a bit too consistent in her work in the final. Very methodical. Got in front early & stayed there. Great tournament for Lekeisha though. Another Silver medal to add to her expanding collection. By my count, that makes three Silvers at World Cup events plus a Silver at the World Boxing Championships last year. Tough division for women. No easy fights from what I saw. Hoping to see Lekeisha maintain that high standard for the rest of the year. Good work, Pergo.
