Junto Nakatani "Big Bang Nakatani" says his top 5 P4P for DAZN in Boxing : 1- Naoya Inoue 2- Terence Crawford 3- Jesse "Bam" Rodriguez 4- Shakur Stevenson 5- Junto Nakatani (himself) It is still very humble to put Inoue number 1 when he faces him on May 2nd and to put Jesse Rodriguez number 3 when the latter had gone back to 112 lbs to avoid unification with him at 115 lbs. If he had been European, Chinese or American, he would not have hesitated to say that he is the best in the world.
Yes it's true but I think he don't say Usyk because his future fight and future challenger is very poor... specially for a unified world championships in Heavyweight with four belts on the line (if we counted the IBO).
If that is valid reasoning for p4p than the ommitting of bivol is also justified. In reality, p4p is for the best current fighters. If bivol and usyk are not in the top 3, the list has failed. For me it is Usyk, Inoue, Bivol But yes, Inoue is the only one with a justifiable fight schedule. But going by that, crawford shouldn't be on the list at all. He retired and there are NO fights scheduled ... Weird list Also it is true, that i also would expect an american on the level of nakatani to put himself on top, but realistically, he put himself as high as justifiable and inoue, too. If people believe it, it should sell the Fight and in case he wins or does well it Highlights his achievement.
A 40 year old with crumbling knees who dominated everyone put in front of him before that. Beterbiev was great and himself high on the p4p list. Bivol vs beterbiev was the best matchup in many years and beterbiev put in a great performance. I can't really understand how anyone could not appreciate that. In the case of crawford vs canelo it would make sense. Canelo was showing bad fights for years when he lost to crawford. But not beterbiev. You are entitled to your own view of course, i just don't understand it. Also bivol avenged the loss and i doubt anyone beats him soon, including benavidez or any other of the fighters who are all way bigger than bivol, who could apparently fight in super middle. Bivol is one of the few fighters who show what boxing can be worth in overcoming physical disadvantages. Unlike all the fighters who work to gain physical advantages and be heavier on the night like crawford, benavidez, canelo and still appear on the p4p lists, bivol is actually way smaller than most his opponents. The zurdo Ramirez fight looked crazy and he is now a cruiserweight champion. Maybe you're just rage baiting, but I am not raging. I honestly just don't understand that Perspective
