Wilder might have the Usyk shot lined up now that he beat Chisora tbh.

But Itauma's camp has not returned calls thus far, as I have documented in a number of threads.

Here's Itauma's chance to make good.

Itauma’s Team seemed keen to fight Pulev but never heard nothing since Gassiev beat him.So is Gassiev’s career on hold now until Itauma’s Team decide what there doing,it’s a strange situation to be ordered to fight somebody next but it look like there looking elsewhere .

If you read through the various threads, you would be utterly shocked at how hard I have tried to describe this simple fact to a surprisingly large number of people who just don't want to know it. You said exactly right. They wanted the WBA regular belt when Pulev held it to the point where Warren was considering suing to get the shot over Gassiev. When Gassiev got the belt, his camp couldn't find Warren or Ituama, who suddely didn't want it.

I tried and tried to describe this simple reality to people who would usually retort something like, "but Gasiev lost to Wallin," or some such non sequitur nonsense.

Now Gassiev's name appears to be in their mouths. Here is their chance to make good.

I think I was one of those people you are talking about, but it was because you were calling it a duck I believe, anyway I think we kind of resolved it and agreed that it wasn’t actually a duck. I don’t think it will be any of those fights that will get made, they will probably feed him a few more souls to give him some heavy knock outs to increase his popularity and marketability.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he got miller next

It's not a duck if they want to take a better path for a young fighter. My gripe was and has always been that they call out Usyk, decline Sanchez, demand Pulev, swerve (wahtever you want to say) Gassiev, fight Whyte and Franklin...

Since his name has been out there, it has been talking about fighting the best, declining good opportunities when they come up, and fighting the undead and punching bags.

It he is going to fight Gassiev now, or take a similarly good opponent like Hrgovic...more power to him. But it shocks me that people can't just say things like they are.

I'd be disappointed if it was Gassiev tbh. Give him an actual test

Let's see Big Bang in there with him. I think Itauma KOs him after 4 or 5 rounds, but it could also go the other way early on.

If he fights Gassiev, he's probably going to be forced to then fight a mandatory against Charr, or Lovejoy, or Oquendo.

I'm happy for him to go WBA and bring that into an internal unificiation to reloegate it to history once and for all. Where is it in the line?

Actually, being stuck in that mess, is probably a reason why he won't fight Gassiev.

Itauma would be able to prove himself with a big power puncher that’s not reaching 40. Zhang and Wilder are too old

Again...why did he want it when it was Pulev? Why was Warren threatening to sue?
