Can you imagine the lambasting Fury would’ve got from the boxing fraternity had he sat ringside being called out by AJ, not said a peep whatsoever, then gone & had a tune up with a guy with the last name Pringle.

    Unbelievable Jeff

Hey, come on now. That’s enough stick regarding us DAZN Ultimate subscribers. I know there’s others ways to watch that cost less, a lot less actually, but I’m not skint, I’m a worker, I’ve earned and I’m a boxing fan. I’m not embarrassed by any of those things. There’s many, many things to be ashamed of and being a DAZN Ultimate subscriber isn’t one of them, no matter what people on here think. If I miss a show or it’s on in the middle of the night, I still want to see it. You can’t do that with a dodgy stream. I look at DAZN’s May schedule and I think, Wow ! I’ll pay for something I value. I don’t expect everything for free. That the type of guy I am.

Itauma is supposed to be headlining somewhere on the same night. Wonder if there both on this card?

I hate using dodgy streaks, I am very much someone who would prefer to pay a reasonable money for a good product.

I just cant do that with DAZN, a mix between some good fights being on rubbish PPV main event under card and paying decent money for a very mixed service, it is starting to make me lose interest in boxing

Yes. I've seen him box and he's so slow and poor that even the worst version of AJ wins easily. AJ KO in round 1 or 2. He's far worse than the bum Ben Whitaker faced in his first fight for Matchroom.

I fully understand that they don't want to take any chances and risk the Fury fight going up in smoke.

The whole point of a tune up is to get some rounds in. What’s the point if he’s going to blow this guy out in 2 rounds?

When they say ‘tune up’, what they really mean is an easy, knock over job to build some hype and excitement for the fight that follows.

Cannot get excited for Fury v Joshua at all similar to how I felt about Brook v Khan.

He gets a pass given recent events. Imagine he’s just cheap…

Think both fury and AJ have more than brook and khan but agree it’s not the fight it once was.

He might as well at 50 years old just get in there with Fury, what does it matter? In a sporting sense there isn't anything on the line, the fight is well past the sell by date yet they can still con a trilogy out of it. Waste of time and just gives Fury more chance to move the goalposts again or get injured.
