Joshua is a past prime fighter who needed 6 rounds to overcome natural cruiserweight Jake Paul, this fight is a good fit for him at the moment considering his current mental state...

 

Joshua is fighting Fury at the end of the year and I think that's pushed the Wilder fight back.

The Fury fight is the harder fight for Joshua so I don't think it's ducking Wilder, also it's a massive fight, although the Wilder fight could be big itself.

 

If Wilder would not loss 12-0 with Parker You will have that fight in past. You can blame only Wilder.
Same with other story when Wilder turn down better fight with Joshua where he would earn 100 milllion $$$.

Im not fan of this fight off course but I try understand situation. They got good boxer- but after hard time. Last time when he fight with Dubois he looks very bad. He got long pause, one fight where he was favorite 99-1 and he for horrible car accident.
This all and fact that he already got Fury fights (many many $$ to earn) make them super super cautions. That's all.
I dont blame them.

I agree that the SIXTH time they said Wilder would be next, and Wilder lost, then I can ONLY blame Wilder.

The other times, when they signed to fight Miller, Ruiz (and lost), Franklin, Whyte 2, Helenius, and now Prenga ... WILDER DIDN'T Lose and was available ... and they said Wilder would be next before they changed it to they "needed more time," "needed another tuneup," or Wilder was just too "Risky."

So, I BLAME ALL THOSE on Joshua and Hearn.

Wilder didn't lose all those other times.

They are the ones who keep telling fans WILDER IS NEXT ... and then sign to fight someone else.

It is what it is. They did it again. Just like I they do every time they say Wilder is next.

Every freaking time.

I don't think AJ is gonna go try and blast him out, he'll need to know what he has left and that would be pointless approach imo

4 to 6 rounds would be decent for him

You're listing the missed fight with Miller or Ruiz, where AJ lost the first time. Are you serious? You can immediately delete those two points, too, because you don't think it's fair to complain that after a loss or after missed fights (Whyte 2), a fight with Wilder didn't happen.

Besides, the Wilder fight lost its meaning and "flavor" at some point. It had to be rebuilt to bring interest back to a reasonable, worthwhile level. That's why, among other things, there was that joint fight card in Saudi Arabia, where Joshua stood next to Wilder, they asked about each other, etc. Both were simply supposed to win their fights. Joshua executed the task perfectly, and Wilder looked like crap...
And you keep throwing out these "quotes," and I don't have time to check where and if those exact words were actually used, especially since, you know, when you quote Hearn, you keep using the same words, as if the guy had been repeating himself like a barrel organ for several years. Perhaps some links to statements/interviews where they advertised the Wilder fight this way.

I've been following the Joshua vs. Wilder fight quite closely for years, and if anyone has more to blame, it's definitely Wilder, who, at the best moment for this fight, threw everything away in favor of a fight with Fury that he thought was "safer," costing him a position and a painful defeat.

Wilder isn't exactly interesting these days, at least not with Fury back in the mix. And since they won't use him as a warm-up... You have to respect even the current Wilder's abilities. He's a guy who can always punch you unconscious. This is absolutely not a "tough" fight before bigger fights. Especially since Wilder likes to earn his keep, and he'd have to pay a fortune.
Only a complete idiot would put the uncertain AJ on Wilder now, with two fights with Fury still to fight, perhaps for a fortune.

Eight are undefeated. Only one of them has a loss ... and it's Prenga.

He may be the ninth-best Albanian heavyweight out of NINE.

Everyone loves to bash Wilder ... But Joshua and Hearn both said Wilder was next ... and Hearn flipped and said Wilder was "too risky."

And they decided instead to fight arguably the ninth-best Albanian heavyweight out of nine Albanian heavyweights ... next.

There isn't anything you can say to cover for Joshua in this situation.

None. They used Wilder's name for press, then pivoted ... like they HAVE ALWAYS DONE when they bring him up.
