Another Usyk fight is pointless, Joshua is shot since car accident, and frankly all that talk, Joshua vs is tiresome and not important anymore, because Usyk exposed them both

What is left, there is a single fighter not ducking anyone, ready at moments notice, and would accept that fight in heartbeat, and that is Hrgovic

Hrgovic gets paid, Fury get a beatable live body top 10 opponent

If it was close enough to AJ's fight against Prenga or maybe even on the undercard, then I could understand.

While I'd be interested in seeing this fight(or seeing Fury fight any top 10 guy from the last 5 years not named Usyk), with the Joshua match being signed for later in the year I'd rather Fury just take on a light touch and not jeopardize the fight.

Joshua is past his best but so is Fury. Still, neither is washed enough to where I don't care to see them fight. The winner of this fight can determine the second greatest heavyweight of this era.

With AJ v Fury in queue, don't bet on someone too dangerous. They'll want to showcase both guys before they meet.

Hrgovic represents a certain risk and is not a financially viable opponent...

Yep. All eyes of those involved in the matchmaking are looking at AJ v Fury down the road.

    Fight would be pretty unwatchable

    Im not big on Hrgovic

Would be a boring matchup with Fury winning easily

Defintely too hot an opponent in prep for AJ, Fury has no miles left to waste on his engine.

    Good sparring partner yes.

Hrgovic is good for everything except power. What’s Fury looking for in his next tune-up, a highlight reel KO to get hype everyone for the AJ fight, or just to get some more rounds and activity?

    And stamina.

And that's why it might not be the worst option, oddly.

There's basically zero risk of Fury getting stopped - Hrgovic will offer a decent technical challenge early, but fade enough that even if Fury is gassing later he'd probably still be fine on cards.

Hrgovic just isn't that good, and in a way that probably suits Fury quite well at this point, if he's not faded to hell.

I’d expect Fury to win, but I also don’t think Hrgovic would make it easy. Check out Hrgovic’s boxrec stats, especially on his right. For someone with zero chance of knocking him down or out, Hrgovic is a real tough opponent.

Fury doesn’t gas, because he knows how to manage his stamina. He slows down as need be, but he never ever looked gassed.

Good scrap. Fury wins comfortably, gets some rounds in and it's good prep for someone like AJ.

Sure as **** beats this bubble wrap approach AJ is taking so he doesn't stub his toe.
