I think Timmy is finished at the top level, but the Spence fight is a very good option for money and winnability
Jeff Horn spoke about it a while ago and said that nobody yet had managed to do what Tim is trying to achieve and that he was up for a huge task.
Sir Jackson England hits harder than guys twice his size. A lot of these top level pros padwork is ****.
The Commonwealth Games Boxing Team has been announced Lads (& Ladettes). Four men, four women. No real surprises. All have earned their spots. Marlon Sevehon was kayoed in the Commonwealth games selection tournament which is why he isn't there. I've been impressed with what I've seen of Paul Trainor even if he doesn't have as much international experience. Eve Bryson has got the last spot on the team at Women's welterweight. She won the national title last year & the Commonwealth games selection tournament. Full team: Men Jye Dixon - Bantamweight - The only bloke on the team who I'd say is at Olympic medal winning standard right now. Mind you, I'm yet to see him receive a close decision in an international contest which doesn't help in that department. Jacob Cassar - Welterweight - Fast hands, very skilful. Will get better & more resilient year by year. Would like to see him knock over the Kiwi at the Commonwealth games in order to maintain the natural order of things. Paul Trainor - Light Heavy - Tricky southpaw. Good at maintaining distance & countering. There's not a whole lot between several of our Light Heavies but he's earned his spot by winning the national championship last year & the Commonwealth Games selection tournament this year. Lachlan Lawson - Heavyweight - Not the most skilful, definitely the most willing. Has mostly campaigned in lower weight divisions which adds to the degree of difficulty competing up at Heavy. Probably the most fun to watch out of any of our amateurs from a pure entertainment perspective. Doesn't have a reverse gear. Women Monique Suraci - Bantamweight - Broke her international run of outs at the World Boxing Cup with a win against the Japanese. Would like to see her go further at the Commonwealth games. Has the talent to do so. Eve Bryson - Welterweight - Made the team by winning key tournaments. Her selection sends the right message to others who seek to do the same. Lekeisha Pergoliti - Light Middle - The English girl will provide tough opposition for the gold but once again, she should be right up there. Emma-Sue Greentree - Middleweight - Heavy hitter capable of winning gold.
Kambosos says he's fighting in July. Good on him for making money but as a fighter he's finished. Should of hung them up after losing to Loma. He's career was effectively over after losing to Haney 1. Hughes was robbed.
Nothing mate. I'm just sick of his selling ice to Eskimos fake persona. He's a crook. No Limit pull some rubbish opponents and talk them up like they're world class. The last 3 of Tim's wins have been against Tomato cans. This Diaz guy will be no exception.
I like Nikita. Hope he wins a world title. I just hate his promoters and ****s like Ben Damon and LT Dan Hennessey. Also Fight Hype did a 22 min interview with Zerafa. Seriously give that clown a 22 minute interview? Lol.
Ok I'm with you now. Yeah Diaz isn't up to much at all. In terms of the main fight, it should really be a regular Fox show but unfortunately it's not. I will say though that I'm looking forward to a couple of fights on the undercard. Bowen vs Tongotongo should be fun. On paper Callum Peters is in for a bit of a test. Not sure how good Kirra Ruston's opponent is, despite having a perfect record.
