Well, most of us will be watching Moses live and then catch the replay of AJ's sparring session on DAZN.

It's not likie Gassiev had a helluva career before. If Pulev didn't hold the WBA reuglar paper belt, nobody would care about Gassiev.

Maybe Perlanga will be injured and Itauma will be Joshua's opponent as a last minute replacement, lol.

Ain't no way AJ is going anywhere near Itauma. He'd get stopped in 4 rounds.

Paper belt or not when Pulev was Champion,Itauma’s Team were all over it ! It seems Itauma’s Team did care about that paper belt until Gassiev was the one wearing it !

Usyk is the champion. The rest of the pack are just contenders.

Nothing like stating the obvious but you failed to answer why Itauma’s Team were all over the Pulev fight for the paper belt as you called it but not all over it now that Gassiev holds that same paper belt, instead you go off on something completely different .

I totally understand he went through an incredibly horrific event with the car crash and losing those two guys close to him and almost his own life, but I’m not sure what that guy does as an opponent apart from being a big lump who can punch hard. He’s just fought the clown Paul who understandably was on his unicycle the entire time, he’s had a non dangerous fight already, people were saying he’s not battle tested enough before he went in against Dubois against three credible opponents in comparison. If he’s fighting Fury next he could have done with lower end of the top 25 type of opponent to test him. Perhaps he feels he’s ready and just wants to go through the motions and bowl over a no hoper in two rounds to ensure he’s still got the ability to actually fight. The albanian has a poor record and not really anything of note at all but he can hit hard so at least there’s a punchers chance. Most people were surprised the quality was that low and we weren’t expecting a massive name.

Agree, I can’t think of anything he could gain from this fight that’ll assist him in fighting fury, and I mean that from a build up/press conference/ringwalk point of view as well as the actual fight

I’m not discounting the affect the accident had had either but Joshua has made these type of decisions before that, it’s infuriating as a fan to hear of these supposedly elite level fighters needing an obscure tune up every other fight

seems like they are waiting to see if dubois wins and if he does he'll go against itauma.

dubois wont get the usyk trilogy if anyone has any sense and wardley and itauma have the same trainer and wont get head to head yet, plus wardleys best bet is to aim for the usyk fight next if he wins.
