For me, Teremoana Teremoana is still building his career, nothing serious yet. I hope he will be against Alex Leapai Jr, it would be a good fight between prospects in the Australian Heavyweight division. I'm just afraid of Dempsey McKean if he will be the victim of the both, he need to retire to be honest.

This is where Slow Eddie Hearn needs to start making himself useful. Make the guy an offer he can't refuse. I mean, is that how he developed AJ in the UK? By not making fights with blokes who didn't want to get knocked senseless?

 

Slow Eddie Hearn is talking about making Justis Huni versus Big Pharma Miller or Joseph Parker in Australia. Big Pharma's the wrong fight for Justis. Needs to be Parker.

 

Just looked up AJ's record. The first 14 blokes he fought he stopped in the first three rounds. So it would seem Slow Eddie / Matchroom is following the same formula. In saying that, several of those lower-level blokes had solid credentials & we're yet to see that with Teremoana's opposition. We must be getting close though. Joshua fought for the Commonwealth title (really a second-tier British title the way the Brits treat it) in his 14th pro fight & Dillian Whyte (who was dangerous then) for the first-tier British title in his 15th. He fought for an alphabet world title next fight after that. My concern with Slow Eddie's approach is that it leaves a lot to luck. AJ went life & death with Klitschko with only a couple of seven-rounders under his belt. Exciting? Yeah, for sure. Smart? He got away with it so if you're them, yes again. I think taking the time to get Teremoana a couple of distance fights against durable opposition before levelling up too much would take some of the risk out of the equation in terms of navigating a path to the top.

 

The one thing I will say about Teremoana is that he is actually being active unlike Itauma.

 

The fact that Teremoana is now appearing on the main television platform for boxing in Australia should really help him. There will be more money flowing from local television to Slow Eddie to obtain decent opponents. Hopefully Slow Eddie spends some of it rather than taking it all back to Monaco with him.

 

Most know what happens when they spar. It’s going to cost plenty and it’ll be over inside of three. I’d be looking overseas personally.

 

Eddie will need to strike a deal for him first. That may well happen. Time will tell.
