Whose side are you on, Fury or AJ?

Which is unusual considering he keeps in good shape. Never been the same since Ruiz 1 imo.

 

I don't like either of them, but I'll watch the fight...

 

I backed Fury then and I'll back Fury now.

In the years since he first burst on the scene I've developed a great admiration for Joshua though.

But in all honesty the pair of them are both not what they once were, and both have lost that competitive will and desire to test themselves imo. Also, I'll 100% be watching the fight, but it's total bull**** it's taken this long for it to come about.

 

I don’t think a loss for AJ matters one bit at this point but I feel like a AJ defeat for Fury really trashes his legacy and wafer thin resume.

When Dubois and Joshua fought Joshua got knocked out and didn't seek a rematch despite being a heavy favorite, being only 34 years old and virtually nobody claiming he was past it prior.

And were supposed to just ignore all this somehow because it doesn't fit some prior narrative?

 

He's only had one fight and it was against a YouTuber. Not a lot of evidence to see how badly he's declined since getting beat down by Dubois.

 

If Joshua loses, he was either shot, unfocused, or unlucky.

If Joshua wins, his opponent was ultra motivated. If the opponent was older and previously looked shot, they re-entered their prime for that fight.

 

Yet he was still a heavy favourite against Dubios. I should know, I made a pretty penny off that fight.

Based on previous accolades

The savvy people out there were still unconvinced about where AJ was at despite a few wins under his belt due to the nature of competition

Dubois was a level up and it answered alot of questions

 

Some people grasp for straws saying AJ was past it when he fought Dubois. The perception was he was "in his second prime", some even said "better than he ever was". He was a heavy favorite against Dubois. He just wet the bed fighting like a novice. I think he is definitely past it after that ass whooping tho.

However, you're not consistent. You favored Wallin to beat AJ, saying he had every advantage over him except size and power (LOL), but after that, you didn't give AJ credit for the win, you just said Wallin was never that good xD Same trian of thought. Fanboys and haters denying reality and their own opinions in hindsight.

 

On paper someone like Dubios should have been perfect for a cautious AJ. I still think he wins a rematch
