Its just normal situation when you are boxing stars and You give some nameless dudes chance...
That's how it work. They are only human end of the day so why they should risk millions $$ because some accident?
Belive me for Prenga its just another happy news. If some perfect shots give him not 1 but 2 lottery win dude like him cant be happier.
Even Ruiz who was much better was ultra happy about it

    • He was cleared from hospital rather quickly: FACT
    • He is currently on video training in the gym with Usyk doing strenuous exercises: FACT
    • He has signed to fight Tyson Fury this year (venue and final date to be confirmed): FACT
    • Prenga is an awful opponent, especially for preparation against a fighter as difficult as Fury: FACT
The only thing on speculation is his mental fortitude, and that's always been in question. His team appear confident enough in him to sign a major fight though, so maybe we ought to take that as an indication he is mentally sound enough to fight?

Why not pay Perlanga to take a dive, instead of risking the win?

At least Makhmudov had Takam, Allan, Rice and Wach on his resume, and Mak has proven power at a decent level. Prenga has Dawejko. On paper Makhmudov is significantly better.

Listen we gave poor @catchwtboxing hell over Moses recently and I still stand by that
    Stating beliefs without medical proof

Fact is, which trumps all you posted is nobody really knows anything about how he was affected mentally or physically because it's personal information that will only ever be disclosed if they choose to do so, even then they might not tell everyone the truth

All the stuff you've said indicates what you said sure, but heres an example
Regis Prograis just fought for a lovely retirement fund
But we now believe he really shouldn't have

That scenario is possible here with AJ tbh

There's a lot of money at stake here so who knows what they are prepared to do in order to secure the bag

    Most boxers do this really

Eh, that's Kiwi's MO, ain't it? Act like he's an authority and the most logical person here while in reality he's just warping his arguments to fit his own biases. If Usyk or AJ does it it's awful and the end of the world. If the Cokehead Brothers Fury and Parker do it, nothing but crickets.

Prenga is a perfectly fine tune up for AJ. He'd be a perfectly fine tune up for any HW that hasn't fought in a long time. Guys like Prenga have been vital to the health of the sport since time immemorial. They're nobodies who have beat up nobodies, but they can box a little bit and they have the size/power to not be a complete pushover.

Prenga is actually rated HIGHER than Makhmudov on BoxRec. See, that's how the John Q. Dumbass public gets bamboozled. They see Makhmudov as a more legitimate guy because he's been in the ring with better opposition. But what did he do in the ring with that better opposition? He got smashed! Dude never beat nobody. Just like ol' Pringles here.

And for any nitwits acting like AJ fighting this guy is an affront to God, it's literally the M.O. of even ATGs throughout the history of the sport to fight guys like this. Lennox Lewis got KO'd by McCall in September of '94. He took eight months out of the ring and then fought Lionel Butler. A fat journeyman with 10 losses on his record already. Ok, but surely Lennox the Lion, the ATG who could smash anyone of today's HW era with one arm tied behind his back took on an elite fighter after that easy as hell tune up, right? Uh. . . not so much. His next opponent was Justin Fortune. A 5'9 Australian with a record of 11-2-1. Those two losses being him getting KO'd. Yeah, that's right. FIVE FOOT NINE.

Hell, if people are gonna give AJ hell for fighting Prenga, I sure hope they gave Fury hell for fighting a cruiserweight in Sefer Seferi and bums like Pianeta and Schwartz. I imagine they didn't though.

I'm sorry guys, but it shows an astonishing lack of self-belief to even consider needing a rematch clause against a guy like this. Though I'll concede this is probably in their contract templates or something, it's still a bad look.

That and I think one-way rematch clauses are rubbish to begin with, so even if it is standard practice for Hearn/Warren fighters it should be abolished.

Hillarious, if Joshua loses to Prenga he needs to just hang his pro gloves up and get on with fighting YouTubers, never mind a rematch

What I posted was mostly fact. What others are doing in bringing up the car accident is pure speculation.

Someone who is severely injured in a car accident would not be released so quickly, nor would they be doing intensive, physical exercise. Catchwtboxings speculation was because Itauma interviewed poorly with zero evidence to support his claims (and he was promptly proven wrong in Itauma's next fight), it's very apples vs oranges.

Sure, we could speculate that his team care so little about AJ they're forcing him through for a final payday, but there's no basis to support that. AJ doesn't need the cash, and if he wasn't up for it, he wouldn't have signed the dotted line. There's also the BBoBC to consider here as well, would they really allow AJ to continue if he wasn't medically fit?

Rematch clauses are fine except when forced upon a mandatory

It'll be interesting to see what Hearn says when presented with this

Regis and AJ aren't really comparable here as they're entirely different circumstances.

We have no choice but to speculate in some areas, I agree, but we can also see the facts I outlined before.

Someone who has had a serious injury in a car accident (especially someone high-profile) is not released so soon, nor are they permitted to exercise heavily (and even if they did, they'd wind up in hospital again pretty quickly).

Nah, I say let em die.
If you get your ass kicked, go to the back of the line and earn your way back and let the other guy go forward.
