The man has a 12-9 career record. Not against a decent SOS where he kept losing to good opponents either. Win or lose Marciano is the only notable opponent on his resume. By notable I mean someone boxing history enthusiasts have heard of in passing. None of his other opponents meet that bar.

    This is not a flex.

Is your argument that a smaller skilled man can’t beat a larger skilled man? That argument hasn’t held up well over the history of the division.

I suppose not everyone was blessed with good reading comprehension. I stated this exact fact while posting. You’ll do better next time I’m sure.

    On one hand I'm sorry.

On another hand you stated this fact on post 9. Not the first post. Not everyone reads the whole thread before commenting.

I was blessed with amazing reading comprehension sir!!

There are no absolutes. But there are probabilities. And the probability of a 185 lb. 5-10 dude with a 67" reach, who was no defensive wizard, had poor balance, wasn't very fast or fluid, cut badly and went life-and-death with geriatrics and lighheavies, the odds of that guy beating a mid-sized modern heavy (6-2, 225 range) who has quicks, slicks and is well trained are very, very low.

Jeff Fenech a former Super Bantamweight apparently knocked out a 17 stone bouncer.

Again there's a world of difference fighting a big man and fighting a good skilled big man.

Beating a Heavyweight of 6'5 who wouldn't be ranked in the top 500 Heavyweights is different to fighting a 6'5 ATG Heavyweight in Lewis.

Also no one has ever said smaller Heavyweights can't beat bigger Heavyweights.

But with the way Marciano fights in an overly aggressive manner and with his very small attributes 5'10, 185 pounds, 67 inch reach.

It's hard to fathom how Marciano would be successful with his style and attributes against much bigger, athletic, stronger, modern Heavyweights.

His defense and chin were solid. Balance was poor early in his career not prime. You don’t get the highest KO rate of a champion with bad balance. There are some men and some styles I may agree with you on that statement but I wouldn’t on Rocky at all. He was built to take on bigger men. He has a higher KO rate on bigger men. Gaining functional mass is easy and it’s not a skill.
literally everyone he fought was bigger than him.

I don't think people get how limiting a 66 reach is compared to like 71. Those 5 inches historically might as well be a mile.

Three skllled giants-Lennox, Vitali, and Wlad. How do you think Mr. Marciano would fare?

Prob loses to Lewis on his best day. But more competitive than many would think. Depends if they allow Wlad and Vitali to grab Marciano the whole night. Is it 15 rounds? Otherwise Wlads gonna get knocked out but he may get knocked out anyway. Sanders wasn’t half as skilled as Marciano and he gave them both a hard time. Would know more if either fought Tua but he seemed to be avoided by both.

I am just going to represent that a lot of this is rubbish.

185 pounds- trained down to 189, usually walked around well over 200, and most fighters of his natural build would have fought at that weight. He took the weight off so he could throw a hundred punches in a round like he did against Charles.

5'10", 67" reach- he made that a virtue by coming in low in the crouch. I have posted the quotes any number of times with fighters talking about how hard it was to hit him.

    No defensive wizard- as above.

Poor balance- fair play here. His one real weakness was that he never developed good footwork.

Wasn't fast or fluid- wasn't his style, but when you can throw 96 power punches in the 15th round of a fight, you beat most of the fast/fluid guys. We have pressure fighters today. It's not a new thing.

Cut badly- he has one cut that was a recurring problem that he got by a headbutt against John Shkor. Sucks, but it happens. Fury has one of those, too.

Went life and death against geriatrics- some of the best to ever do it.
