Before I used to care about personality, but all I care about who is the better fighter and who is more likely to make important fights afterwards. This fight is past it's expiration date and neither is going to make important fights afterwards. I'd just watch it because it'd be entertaining, but otherwise I don't care that much who wins. I guess I'd just like to see AJ fight Deontay Wilder after and that's about it.

I also kind of feel Joseph Parker got screwed out of a title fight, getting stringed along a few years, and the early stoppage against Wardley. Maybe if he gets a rematch against AJ he could be in the running for a title shot.

 

I can't recall people suggesting he was shot in 2024 prior to Dubois. The overwhelming consensus was that he was still in his prime and many felt he was improving with his new trainer.

Yes, but I think he should have had a shot at Usyk for the real belt. He was trying for years to get the real belt but was locked out because of major fights between the big names.

There's a reason he was the heavy favorite. His career best performance was Usyk 2 and joshua steamrolled everyone up until Dubois. Aj himself and his team claimed they were better than ever before.

He was not shot. What actually happened was joshua is chinny and Dubois was always a bad match up based on their previous encounters. All Dubois did was replicate those feats he pulled off in sparring

 

Not that highly regarded? Is that why he's had 4 title shots in the past few years? Including one prior to AJ when he got a crack at Usyk?
