Fury does not hit way harder than Larry Holmes, marginally at best. He has always struggled to turn his punches over unless his target is a bum. Even then he would likely approach Norton on the backfoot

I'm baffled why he thinks Fury hits way harder than Holmes.

Holmes had 15 stoppages in world title fights during his reign.

At one point Holmes was on a streak of 8 straight stoppages in world title fights.

Fury's most notable stoppages are against Wilder, Whyte.

Fury had to beat the living heck out of Wilder before he stopped him.

Whyte was a good KO but he'd already been sent to the shadow realm twice by Joshua and 40 year old past it Povetkin.

But all in all Fury has only stopped 2 opponents ranked in the top 10.

Holmes stopped 12 opponents ranked in the top 10.

So i'm failing to see the logic behind Fury apparently hitting way harder than Holmes ?

Yes Fury has more weight mostly fat BTW.

But Holmes is considerably quicker and has more snap on his punches.

This will be a worse ass whipping then the Vitali Norton thread. Fury way too big and good of a boxer. He ll pound Norton to a pulp. Probably a mid or late round stoppage after total dominance.

Larry Holmes didn't even have power at all. Tyson Fury would beat Ken Norton by KO Tyson Fury 100% has more power than larry holmes. I shouldn't have to debate you. If you seriously think Larry Holmes hit harder than a 270 lb guy, your just being biased.

Larry Holmes didn't have power at all ? Again where are you getting this from ?

    Holmes had 44 KO's.

Holmes had a 8 win stoppage streak in world title fights.

Holmes overall had 15 stoppages in world title fights ?

So again I ask what are you talking about ?

As for weight ? I guess Fury hits harder than 220 pound Foreman right ? going by your logic ?

Weight doesn't necessarily equal to being a big puncher which Fury is not.

Fury's power certainly doesn't stand out as being superior to Holmes's power at all I don't know what you're on about TBH.

As for me being biased ? No you're just not very knowledgeable on Holmes's career clearly.

have you ever thought of the fact that larry holmes was an outboxer. Which means that he tires out most of his opponents. Thats how he gets most of his KO's/TKO's
Larry Holmes had mediocre power compared to other heavyweights just be realistic.

Yeah, but he still hits harder than Larry Holmes. I never said Fury really hits hard because he doesn't. But he hits harder than Larry Holmes

I don’t know. When Holmes sat down on his punches, he hit pretty hard. I am not sure Fury could take Cooney out.

Norton had the right style to beat a rangy boxer who preferred to jab from a distance. He proved that and then some. Therefore he could win this in “ Theory. “ The question is whether or not he could handle that much of a size difference

Fury is an outboxer aswell though ?

Most of his stoppages are from wearing his opponents down also ?

The only stand out KO on Fury's resume was Whyte who was already shopworn suffering multiple KO losses.

With Wilder he had to beat him from pillar to post to get the stoppage.

Fury's power is also considered mediocre ?

Would Fury even be considered in the top 10 of his own era in regards to punching power ?

    Wilder
    Zhang
    Wardley
    Joshua
    Dubois
    Itauma
    Chisora
    Hrgovic
    Bakole
    Gassiev

All hit harder than Fury his power is not stand out at all.

Aaaah poor baby gets all upset when people don’t think like him.
Too bad. This would be one sided pounding for as long as it lasts.
