Better Australian prospect Teromona jr vs Justis Huni

If you've seen them spar, the answer is pretty clear. Time will tell if they ever clash.

 

I think the real question it's more Teremoana Teremoana or Alex Leapai Jnr the best Australian prospect in Heavyweight right now.

 

Third or fourth time you've mentioned Alex Leapai Jr as a potential opponent for Teremoana. The kid was playing football (rugby league, the main Australian winter sport in two states & one territory) up until a couple of years ago. He doesn't even have an amateur career & is all of 9 fights into a professional career. He's almost a generation younger than Teremoana & won't be fighting him for real anytime soon. If he did, the people responsible for arranging it would be locked up for criminal negligence.

 

I don't doubt that Justis handles business in the gym when sparring, Ipswich. When (& if) Teremoana builds up the number of rounds he can do in a real fight, that's when a fight between them would get interesting. Teremoana has the kind of power that could unhinge a horse from its senses, let alone Justis.

 

Justis, who had to fight with little preparation, easily outboxed Wardley until he got caught in the 10th round. The problem is that with a chin like that, and a lack of power, it has been proven that it will be difficult to succeed in HW. However, he is possibly one of the most skilled HW boxers out there.

Teremoana on the other hand is hard to gauge. He is KOing lower level opposition with ease, but will that translate to top level boxing. To succeed he is going to need decent defence and a solid chin, as well as some sort of stamina.

The ultimate comparison, Usyk, has elite stamina, defence, skills and chin. He has shown he has power, but he doesn't use it if doing so compromises his defence.

 

All you Frogs really need to know is that we've got blokes who can give any of yours a good whoopin' & will have for years to come.

We haven't seen Teremoana in a pro fight long enough to gauge his defence etc. He does have two stints in amateurs.

 

I like teramona but until he fights a live body I vote huni
