For me its the all Japanese fight. Two p4p talents who are doing there country proud. Zurdo looked amateur against Bivol while Benavidez looks poor at cruiserweight
I'm not sure you can say Benavidez looks poor at cruiserweight, as this is his first fight at the weight. Regardless I expect Zurdo to get the upset (but if the odds makers were rational then I don't think it should be considered an upset). To answer your question though I am much more excited by Inoue-Nakatani; I feel Inoue has been keeping his powder dry in his last couple of fights, but with the weight of expectation here and a huge domestic audience I think he will flourish and stop Nakatani.
I am much more interested in me all – Japanese showdown. Perhaps if Zurdo was more compelling as a fighter his fight would be number one, but that is not the case.
Benavidez has fought his way to CW while dodging Beterbiev, Bivol and now Opetaia. He isn't losing to Zurdo, who got destroyed by Bivol.
Both are interesting matchups, but I'm more looking forward to Inoue-Nakatani - it's a rare matchup between 2 top 10 P4P boxers. Benavidez might be a top ten P4P boxer, but Zurdo clearly is not.
There is only 1 correct answer here, i can make a case for Inoue v Nakatani being the highest level (on paper) fight this century.
Inoue-Nakatani, easily. Two undefeated, powerful, elite P4P prizefighters competing for the undisputed crown - it doesn't get any better than that. I'm fired-up for Benavidez-Zurdo as well, though.
He dodged the guy who dropped his belt and refused to fight him? lol Has anyone seen Beterbeiv in over a year?
