I'm no big lover of Tyson, but in this match up.. Prime for prime H2H

Does he scare the life out of Wlad and blitz him in a round ?

Vitali would be a hard night's work for Tyson but I'm sure he steamrollers Wlad

This is a matter of Tyson trying to get into mid-range and Wlad simply stepping forward into close range and clinching and draping with the wet blanket spoil strategy. If he's allowed to do it, there is no telling how horrible this will be or whether Tyson will completely flip out while this is happening and respond to negative fouling with more violent, blatant fouling and get disqualified by the presumably horrible referee in this instance. A well-officiated match is Tyson now or later by stoppage. What would actually happen could be the non-war version of a war crime with Wlad winning.

No, because he sparks out Mike quickly.

Tyson had no inside game against against a master clincher.

The man said "prime". Do you think getting into the second round vs Tyson in 2002 is the same as in 1988????

Yes. It goes both ways. Wlad has a little punch to him as well.

Wlad is a horrible matchup for Tyson. Tyson ticks several Wlad "wishlist" boxes: he's small, has a short reach, can't compete with Wlad's jab, doesn't handle a clinch well and has only average footwork. It would be a classic Wlad-o-thon fight. 100 jabs from range, the right cross when Tyson tries to close the distance and then Tyson gets to experience a wildlife docudrama on octopi in real life if he does close the distance.

Mike still has his speed and power and a good chin, so he's always got a chance here but it's not a very big one.

Would this be a Bonecrusher Smith replay?

Prime Klitschko would be his later years when he had perfected his style with the guidance of Manny Steward. That Wladdy would have been very hard for Iron Mike to beat. His reach, height, focus and cautious style would have created all sorts of problems for Tyson. Klitschko sees many rounds and probably wins the fight by comfortable decision.

Everything depends on if they allow an insane amount of clinching. This behavior would have not been accepted in the 80s. A straight up fight he prob takes him out within 4. If he’s allowed to excessively hold with no penalties Wlad could knock him out but even then a prime Tyson was completely different from the man of the 90s. He may have caught him eventually.

Clinching has been around since the sport started and is still going on now. I think Wlad has only been penalized 1 point (maybe 2 points) in his entire career which isn't much since there are people that constantly talk about it.

Yeah, he sees round two. Probably takes to the mid rounds for him to stop Mike....

....that is what you meant, isn't it?....
