I wonder if Ioka lost his punching power at 118 lbs or maybe Ioka is just too old... I think it's maybe both.. when you looks Kosei Tanaka & Donnie Nietes at 115 lbs if you compare with their versions at 112 or 108 lbs... even with small weights differences some boxers lost their punching powers.

 

Sucks seeing a great fighter like Ioka looking old and slow. Takuma is having his way with him.

I was exactly thinking the same.. Takuma Inoue almost lost his fight against Tasana Salapat and he lost to Nordine Oubaali, then he beat Liborio Solis, KOed Jerwin Ancajas, beat on décision Sho Ishida & Tenshin Nasukawa ... and now he actually beat Ioka.

We have almost never seen someone evolve so much in the boxing world after the age of 23.

 

he looks stiff. you can see hes not getting full extension on his punches, thats where the snap comes from. looks afraid to overcommit. probably feels his body isnt responding like hes used to anymore.
