Both guys have got great chins. Don't want to see anybody accusing Inoue of having suspect whiskers because of the Cardenas and Nery fights after this.

    Round 1: Inoue
    Round 2: Inoue
    Round 3: Inoue
    Round 4: Inoue
    Round 5: Inoue (Close)
    Round 6: Inoue (Close)
    Round 7: Inoue
    Round 8: Inoue (Close)
    Round 9: Nakatani
    Round 10: Nakatani
    Round 11: Inoue (Dominant)
    Round 12: Nakatani (Close)

Nakatani with a left hand and a combo early. Inoue with a good right hand and then another one. Nakatani comes back with a left hand, and then attempted another left hand. Combos from Nakatani. Fight ends and they embrace.

    Inoue 9-3. Could be 10-2.

Easy UD for Inoue. He’s just too fast, too explosive, nobody is going go beat him other than Father Time.

however, based on the card, I think Bam can take out Takuma and Nakatani, but would lose to Inoue similarly.

9-3 or perhaps 8-3-1, but judges are rarely generous to Inoue. Wouldn't be surprised by an SD.

    8-4 Inoue.

It took Junto too long to warm into the fight. Anyway, I’ll definetly watch it if they run it back.

I was quite generous to Nakatani, perhaps trying to persuade myself it was a better fight than it was. Still, the timing of the head clash was extremely unlucky.

Amazing second half of the fight.

    Naoya wins that 9 - 3.

    Make the re-match 15 rounds!

Fantastic performance from Inoue. The best fighter on the planet and one of the most extraordinary athletes of our generation.

Unfortunate headcut but I think Inoue wanted to brawl at the end instead of sticking to boxing which made it close in the end
