Clear inoue win 9-3 / 10-2. Juno just a bit passive and hesitant for long stretches

 

9-3 for Nakatani, he was more active and dangerous for most of the fight.

 

7-3-2 Inoue. Two swings rounds for me, but inclining towards Inoue in them as well.

Nakatani had right tactics, Inoue very smart tho... Inoue looks tiredish, age slightly catching ip...

 

I have Inoue winning this 8-4. Big credit to Nakatani for making it competitive all the way through. A good high level fight this was.

R2 - Inoue sneaked his shots.
R3 - Inoue has better control
R4 - Inoue landed all the shots
R5 - Nakatani had some success later in the round but round was better controlled by Inoue
R6 - Closest round of the fight. Still I lean towards Inoue
R7 - Inoue simply too expensive. Despite his age, it's strange.
R8 - Inoue edged it.
R9 - Nakatani edged it ,close
R10 - Nakatani finally started using his reach in previous 2 rounds. Waited Inoue to tire out and lose explosiveness?
R11-R12 - Inoue had the control in them

inoue simply has out of this world explosiveness and i think knowing that Nakatani had to play safe until later in the fight. He simply has better reach but didn't utilize it. I'm guessing that's to avoid Inoue sneaking in shots he can't see or block. Reasons aside he was too gun-shy and cInoue's power too much to actually have a chance to win in this fight.

I would certainly be up for seeing this again, but ultimately a wide win for Inoue who roundly outboxed Nakatani for the first eight. He had to weather a bit of a storm in nine and ten, but then turned things around beautifully.

 

Decent decision, but too close imo.

EDIT: The closest card wasn't decent, but I had actually expected worse.
