Benavidez wins, but it's close enough that there are 20-30 percent of people saying Zurdo won it.

 

Yeah I think it will be close and competitive as well. I wouldn’t be shocked though if Zurdo somehow pulled this off since we really don’t know how well DB will adjust to the new weight class. Hes never been a cut up looking guy and he looks even softer at CW.

 

yeah he looks soft, and for the first time in his career, smaller than his opponent. His power hasn't carried imo, and never had one-punch power in the first place. Zurdo is slow as hell, but Benavidez can probably win off activity if he can take Zurdo's power.

 

I was convinced Benavidez would win comfortably but the size difference was crazy at the weigh in. Zurdo will have around 10-15lbs on him on the night I reckon.

I still think Benavidez will win but I think it will be a fight where he wins the early rounds and is made to hang on in the stretch.

David is going to beat the crap out of Zurdo. Completely different level of fighter. Only path to victory for Zurdo is if David gasses out badly from the weight.

 

Surprised to see Carrillo this far down on the card. Maybe they want to open the free prelims with someone a bit more exciting.
