    I don't get how anyone on ESB can hate on Benavidez. Calls out for the biggest, most dangerous fights across multiple weights m he wants the smoke with Canelo, Bivol, Jai, Biev. Goes forward, fights, stops fighters. High output, pace. He's one of the few throwbacks in this era.

    The sharp counters is what did the work. Flurries have their place, exactly where this one was placed, when you have a hurt fighter in front of you with a swollen face looking for a place to kneel, in the mid rounds. Not on a fresh fighter in rounds 1,2,3.

    If you think DBs flurries were effective in the first couple rounds and was good fight IQ... well to each their own.

    He’s also humble. Doesn’t get embroiled in trash talking and just delivers in the ring. I loved the respect he showed to Yarde before the fight despite being several levels above him.
