Benavidez has that James Toney weight class longevity, adapting to the new circumstances by being slick, extremely relaxed, and in his case fully exploiting his hand speed. A fighter being more lumbering that him seems to actually work in his favor, though I reckon it's only so up to a certain level. Zurdo for the qualities he had, fought David's fight, and was rather limited to begin with.

I guess because he is a "weight bully," and he fights a lot of overhyped/overrated boxers (examples: Morrell, Yarde, and Andrade). I always liked him, but I did think Ramirez would win. Credit to him.
