    Opetaia fans cry all the time. You’re already mad at Benavidez for fighting the 2nd/3rd best cruiserweight. Benavidez has made it clear he wants to go back to 175. Let him do his thing. Why the premature complaining? You think Benavidez is going to duck Opetaia but would be willing to fight Bivol at 175? That doesn’t make sense. It reminds me of GGG fans who treated him as unbeatable at middleweight because of the robberies with Canelo. Just because you get the sh*t end of the stick doesn’t automatically mean you’re great or that you command the division.

    Just watched the highlights and I was most impressed with the speed of Benavidez at an higher weight from 168, 175.

    Obviously, the fight to now make - politics aside (Zuffa, PBC?) - is the fight with Jai.

    You could easily see that being a 2 fight deal. Well worth the 2 fights imo.

    If David looked a bit more ripped and muscle bound, that sort of performance would have EVERYONE saying you were on PEDs. Because he is one of the most unathletic looking ropey-limbed people ever to win a world title outside of HW, no one says a word.

    (FYI, I’m not saying I think he’s on PEDs)

    There is a reason Benavidez isn't out here mentioning Opetaia. Bivol as good as he is - is in a smaller weight class, and, doesn't have the power of Opetaia. I like Benavidez, I think he is a good fighter, but he isn't going to find Opetaia sitting in front of him like a punching bag.
