Then why doesn't he fight him? The next best guy in his division right in the thick of his prime.

Do you really hype Benavidez that much or do you just hate on Canelo that much?

Benavidez is on Caleb Plant level without the reflexes and ring IQ. The ONLY reason why Benavidez beat Plant by UD was SIZE advantage.

Benavidez is a cocaine addict in recovery, he's a gluten addict, and an alcoholic.

His record is hardly any better than Munguia's.

He's a 2 time champion and a 2 time loser. So why do some of you think he's the dude to beat Canelo when Canelo has fought and beat fighters more skilled, more accomplished, more proven than him??

Objectively wrong : check (thinking db not rated)

Objectively in denial : check (you admit you dont know why Canelo isnt fighting his belts interim champion of practically two years now, but say its not ducking lol)

Hypocritical : check (of all the other fighters youve claimed have ducked.)

Your response to being flat out wrong and whack on this subject is to, attack DB as a a person, a fighter, and pretend hes not a threat to Canelo lol. Oh and thinking someone has to be hyping DB or hating Canelo to see the obvious here lol. Typical.

As far as DB not being a threat... But everyone else Canelo chooses to fight instead lately is though right? Lmao.

It just sucks for boxing fans that Canelo doesnt share your view or hed have fought him already.

    Shame.

This statement is no longer true. Benavidez at this stage is most definitely a big threat for Canelo right now.

Don't think he'd feel great at 168, though. But even there he'd be the favourite currently, but with a big question mark about how he'd do at the weight.

Benevidez beats Canelo at any time in his career.

Canelo avoided Benevidez for years, because he knew he would get his ass kicked. His fans made excuses for him for years only to finally realize years later that Benevidez would have **** up that cherry picker.

Canelo was reaching his limit weight while already losing stamina. Benavidez might just be comfortable fighting at cruise. A tad like Vinny meeting Roy Jones. Fought at the same weight, but were going down/up from different realms.

A fresher Canelo definitely goes the distance if the likes of Plant could. Smaller, more compact, extremely slick target.

Fighting Canelo would be a pointless cash grab, and a duck of a number of legacy fights.

Canelo didn’t want it. Shame, now the weight difference is to much.

    Outright criminal scores
    Canelo vs Golovkin 1 : 118-110 Canelo
    Canelo vs Mayweather : 114-114

Almost getting draws in fights he lost clearly.
Canelo vs Bivol : 115-113 Bivol
Canelo vs Bud : 115-113 Bud

    Highly Controversial
Canelo vs Lara : 117-111 Canelo
Canelo vs Trout : 118–109 Canelo

If you dont think theres a pattern of scorecards overly favoring Canelo, Im not quite sure what to say man.

Canelo at 168 is just a plodder who loads up to throw one shot.
