1952 Walcott decides to fight Archie instead of Marciano. Who takes it?

I wish I could see the film. Gotta go with Jersey Joe. But it's 1950s boxing and dark forces lurk.

I'll go with JJW via decision but both suffer knockdown

I think Walcott might get Archie out of there.

Early 50s Archie is when he was at his best. I’m not sure how these styles would clash. I wouldn’t bet on this fight at all.

Walcotts performances seemed to vary greatly. The guy that decked Louis twice and its probably robbed of the decision was hard to believe he could have lost to Rex Layne Maxim and Abe Simon etc. You wonder about the mobs influence with some of these outcomes in those days but 52 version of JJW should beat the 52 version of Moore close decision or catches him for the KO.

I don't trust Walcott to close the deal. I see him starting strong, fading as he did against Marciano, and Moore finishing him with a flurry.
