What's wrong with people in this forum? Usyk vs Benavidez is a great fight. I hope it happens in 2026.

Let's remember the first time Turki said that he wanted Canelo vs Crawford. That honestly sounded very ridiculous at first as well but we know how that ended up. Who knows, perhaps he's seeing the same thing with this match up. Can Benavidez pull off what Bud did to Canelo?

Can't put it past Turki to actually get this fight made somehow. I like to see fighters daring to be great and taking on challenges like this and Crawford fighting Canelo, but I think Benavidez would be better off just fighting Opetaia, Bivol or Beterbiev. Unless Usyk ages 10 years overnight, I can't see anything but a 12-0 victory for him. Style doesn't play into his hands as much as Canelo's played into Crawford's.

...well at least it would be an improvement to Rico.

Half of them picking Benavidez to beat Usyk

    Always so much Usyk disrespect

Max and the Shady dude saying Usyk always has the speed advantage, as to low-key try and discredit him.

Funny how we never heard that argument for Floyd or Roy, eh?

Did they say that about Holyfield and Haye at HW?

Imagine Roy stayed at HW and people tried to low-key discredit him by saying he always had the speed advantage

And Usyk is almost 40 y/o, has slowed down a lot, and these giants he's fought are far from slow sans Chisora who isn't the quickest but even he is quick enough to land

Yeah it's crazy. Usyk blasts this guy out when he feels like it, it's a massive mismatch.

I wouldn't mind so much if they at least prefaced it with ''Usyk is 39 y/o old and boxing is a young man's game and he's at that age where Father Time is almost undefeated'' which should've been the first thing out of their mouths because, duh, Usyk is old and that's true

Also, whilst Benavdez looked good and put on an impressive performance the other night, Zurdo went life and death vs a 39 y/o inactive Dorticos who hadn't fought anyone with a pulse in 5 years and had only fought x 3 in all that time all early blowouts of journeymen who weren't even journeymen CWs

And Zurdo won his first belt at CW off of a Goulamirian who'd been even more inactive than Dorticos - he'd fought once in 4 years and 3 months and not at all in 16 months

And he won his other one off CBS who is very tough, game, and can punch but is an overachiever not elite. Elite as in one of the best fighters at the weight in a weak weight weight class but not an elite fighter

Point being Benavidez beating Zurdo is enough to convince them he beats Usyk at HW? So disrespectful to Usyk

I can't believe I used to respect Kellerman, he has turned into such an unrepentant shill; the only topic he is an expert on these days is the flavour of Turki's bunghole.
